Excrllent shampoo!

I like that Maui Moisture is sulfate and silicone free. I love black soap so when I saw the black soap shampoo I had to try it. Best decision ever! I am now subscribed. Although it doesn't add a lot of moisture, it doesn't strip your hair or scalp either. I just use a leave- in conditioner. The scent is intoxicating. Green, like walking through a cool green meadow or garden. Highly recommend this product!

This shampoo is strongly scented but has a unique smell, kind of tropical yet perfumed too. It has a nice consistency and great ingredients!

Good cleansing shampoo

I’ve never tried this brand but I do really like this shampoo. I have a natural fine texture and this shampoo didn’t dry my hair out and it feels clean. The sent is pleasant and not too strong. I wish I had the conditioner to follow but overall it’s good.

Smells great!!

The smell of this stuff is Amazing. I have bought many of the Maui products and I don't think a single one of them smells bad. But I have had different experiences with different products. Keep in mind, I used the shampoo alone and not in conjunction with the conditioner. I used my own conditioning product. I felt like even though this stuff smelled amazing, it didn't do well for my hair type. It was heavy on my hair but rinsed out with no problem. The bottle can be a struggle sometimes to get the product out at the right amount, but I have always love Maui products! This is a great clarifying shampoo just wasn't for me. Will continue to rave about the rest of their products!

Nice scent and doesn't dry out my hair

I have a very oily scalp and dry ends. I hate to wash my hair every day and try to only wash every other day, but if my hair gets particularly oily, I have to wash it otherwise it looks even thinner. This helped to clarify my roots and provide some much needed lift, without drying out the ends of my hair. My only complaint is that it doesn't lather quite as well as I expected, and I needed to use more than usual to wash my hair.
