Overall good with minor design flaws.

I love everything about Blue Diamond cookware. However, I'm giving this one 4 stars instead of 5 because they miss the mark in two areas of design. #1 handles should be covered with heat resistant rubber. They get hot, increasing the likelihood that someone can get burn. #2 The lid rim should have a protective metal. One drop and this all-glass lid will break.

My Favorite GO TO Brand!!

I buy this brand a lot because I love the performance. Make sure you never use metal utensils. These will start losing their prime after about 1 yr of use. And then I find myself purchasing the same.

Wonderful to cook in but the handles heat up so be careful when using on top of the stove.

Nice pan but because the handles heat up it is not so easy to use on top of the stove. Easy to burn your hands. But in the oven great. Easy to clean up and enjoy the color.

Gadzukes!!! THOSE HANDLES GET HOT!!!

So this is probably one of the best non stick dutch ovens I've found for this price. HOWEVER, while you're cooking the handles get so unbelievably hot you can't touch them without getting burned. I even bought those silicone handle covers to go with this pot and I STILL have to use oven mitts to pick it up. It's absolutely ridiculous. The handle design is the worst! I still use the pot daily. I've had it for almost 2 years now. I would have sent it back but it's so much work being that I live in a small town without a ups store. So I just deal with the ridiculous heat that comes into the handles and fondly refer to this Dutch oven as "the burny pot." Its wonderful in cooking things. Nothing ever sticks to it. But even after two years I'll still sometimes forget and grab those handles and then I wish an itchy booty in public on whoever made those hades handles. So, buy at your own risk. It cooks well, it's just quite unkind to the flesh on your hands.
