Got these because I loved their Jenna Lucious Curvy mid-rise jeanss

I love their Jenna Lucious Curvy bootcut mid-rise jeans and discovered they had shorts in the same style. I decided to compare them. They are the same size 15. You could chop off the legs of the jeans and get the same feel as the shorts. I look great in these shorts (Jenna Midi). They are amazingly stretchy and soft for jeans. Comfortable throughout the day, working, and relaxing. I am 5' 5.5", my waist line is 35 and hips 43. My finger tips barely touch the bottom of my shorts. The front the small pocket is actually functional! It fits a chapstick in it all the way without pushing it out when I move around. I normally never use those pockets because most brands are useless decoration. I am glad I didn't go with the recommendation to size up. They have enough stretch that I can slide them off my hips without unbuttoning them. If you are use to looser shorts around the thighs I would get a larger size. The differences between the shorts and jeans: Noticeable: The shorts have more contrast between the dark and light areas. There is less bling and the back pockets are larger. The inside of the shorts are lighter color than the pants, which is helps the shorts not get burning hot in the sun. My jeans didn't fade in color the 5 months I have had them, so expecting my shorts to be the same. The shorts have been washed twice and look the same as when I bought them. They are not as stretchy as yoga clothes but I can do yoga in them.

Another great Wallflower product

I have several jeans from Wallflower so I thought I would give their shorts a go. I went up a size given many review stated they ran small. I think I am in between sizes as it was a bit big (but not big enough to go down a size) but should be remedied by a wash and dry. The belt was a bonus as I didn’t realize the style I selected came with one. Just the right amount of stretch to make them very comfy. Very happy with my shorts and will probably pick another pair or two up.

These are terribly high waisted! And much smaller than you think (even when ordering your size and bigger)

So comfortable! Perfect length!!

I feel like I am never comfortable with the length of shorts that I find. I took a chance on these and these are the most comfortable shorts I’ve ever worn. The material is stretchy. The length is perfect and the quality is great. I would recommend these to anyone and I will probably be ordering another pair

My favorite brand

Just enough stretch. I usually buy size 7 for all my wallflower jeans but they seem to be made a little different than the pairs I bought 7-10 years ago. I notice the waistbands in my old ones have a little more room. Thought it was just my body but nope, I’ve measured the jeans themselves and the waistbands are a bit smaller on the ones I’ve bought this past year. Just enough to make me feel like a muffin top. I swallowed my pride and got these shorts in a 9. Hips are a little roomy but the waist is better so I guess my vanity will take the hit lol

Runs big- order at least one size down

Love the soft denim. Will need to return for a smaller size. I measured before ordering, but these seem to run big. There is some stretch to the fabric as well. Still- love the style & will try a smaller size!

Don't buy

They are cheaply made. Poor quality. I guess that's what we expected because I bought the pants from the same brand and both of them broke within a month or two of having them. I got these shorts in the mail today and they came broken the zippers broken.. ???? they were super cute and I wanted to like them but now I can't even wear them. Also order a size up because they're made small. So if you wear the same brand of pants and you get the same size in the shorts they won't fit they're made different...ugh.

Never ordered shorts from Amazon, so these were a real treat. Thanks for the advice to order a larger size, I did and they are still a bit tight, but I'll keep them.
