Made quick work of stripping off old finish

Had an old wooden picnic table I wanted to refinish....these coarse 40 grit belt made quick work of the job.

Decent for price, question grit level

So, purchased an incorrect size Norton (name brand belt), then bought this brand as a replacement. It's obvious from pictures that the grit size is off. It is noticably smaller than the high end Norton belt. Not quite as aggressive as I had hoped, but still decent for the price paid.

Got a defective bunch - breaking along the seam right away.

This is not the first time I buy this or similar product. Normally, a belt would last for 4-5 planks (2x4x12) I am sanding, this is about 30 min of usage. I would replace it not because it brakes but because the abrasive surface becomes less abrasive. This last purchase (08/31/2022) I have ordered 2 packages (set of 10 each). One of the packages (I have not opened the second yet) is clearly defective, the seams seems to have a large gap and the sanding belt separates at the belt within a few seconds up to a couple of minutes. It is either breaks completely or jams the sander. So I need to run through multiple belts to finish even a single plank. One of the images shows all the belts that broke while sanding a 2 planks. I would like to wait for a response from the company for a few days. If they can guarantee that this is unusual and just this butch is defective I would like to replace mine. This is understandable and I will update my review to reflect this, and whether the replacement package is any better. Otherwise I will return them for a refund and not buy from them again.

Ok for intermittent use not for extended use.

The belt came unglued and it doesn't have the direction on what direction it should be installed on sander.

Arrived late and I he sanding belts aren't that good they frey along the edges too fast

Coarse, durable, and effective

I bought these to strip paint from a variety of wooden items. They are noticeably coarser than the 60 grit I initially tried. I had no problem with longevity - the correct orientation is clearly marked. On boards covered with multiple layers of both oil- and latex-based paint, they create coarse, flake-like "dust," making clean-up much easier than fine dust. They clog much less than the 60 grit belts, too. I am quite satisfied.
