Easy installation, very quiet. Decent lighting. Great fan for the price. Perfect for a bedroom or other smaller rooms. Would suggest a larger fan for living room/ family room areas

Quite pleased . . . so far. Well packed, comprehensive instructions. Well designed.

Item was well packed, installation instructions very good . . . but read wiring instructions veery carefully! (On page 6 of Assembly Instructions see Note: "If there is a second live/hot wire coming from the outlet box, connect it to the blue (light power) wire for separate light and fan control." This instruction is contrary to Fig 5 on this same page, which shows both the Blue and Black wires from the fan to be connected to a Black (live) wire from the outlet box, which is a wiring configuration for an outlet box without separate wires for the fan and the light) Seems like a quality item, easy to install; design quite clever, as it allowed hanging heavy fan motor from ceiling bracket while completing wiring, rather than having to hold the motor while completing wiring. With competent spouse to help with tools, etc. it took about an hour to remove originally installed ceiling light (only) and mount this item in the previously pre-wired - light and fan - outlet. Some competence with electrical stuff was handy, otherwise I recommend hiring an electrician! Will update after some time with this item.

Nice little fan, works great

I purchased this ceiling fan to replace one from the '80s. The old one had a broken speed switch and I couldn't find the proper replacement switch (6 wires) for it anywhere. This fan was SO easy peasy to assemble, I didn't even read the instructions as I have assembled quite a few ceiling fans before. I had the fan assembled and mounted in no time. The fan provides good airflow and is very quiet. The reverse switch is mounted on the fan body, (most fans usually have a separate pull chain for the direction) but hey, how many times are you going to switch directions on the fan. That really isn't a big deal to me. Despite having a single LED bulb, it provides adequate light. The bulb can be purchased anywhere, so no worries when it ever fails (LEDs have a very long service life) So, to sum it all up, this ceiling fan is a breeze to assemble and seems to be very well made, without costing TOO much. I'm happy and may purchase another one in the future????

Love this ceiling fan.

Arrived quickly. Had an electrician friend install it in my bedroom for me. He said it was a very easy install. Doesn't need to be installed by an electrician if you're handy and know what you're doing. I just don't happen to be when it comes to electrical things. Works really well, looks good, high speed is super high so good air flow. Has the reverse option as well to use in winter to keep air circulating. Nice light. I use the blades with the side that looks like natural wood facing out to blend in with the organic look of my bedroom. Does not come with a remote. But it's not rocket science to pull the chain to adjust the speed or turn it off. I would recommend this product.

Good value and look for low cost.

Good fan for the price. Easy to install and with the 2 sided coloured blades can fit most decors. Though the blades are fairly well balanced, you will need to fine tune the blades with the included weights. This can be a bit of a pain if you have no prior experience. Installation was easy and only a couple of basic tools are needed. Chains are rather short so you may wish to get some extentions to make reaching them easier. Overall not bad and seems to work well so far with very little noise once blades are balanced.

worth it

I bought this for the spare room. installed easily, looks great and is virtually noiseless. the only thing I found is at the beginning the light is a bit finicky. it's almost like it needed a burning in period. overall this is worth the money.
