Ok, a bit tight to fit existing wires and the hardware rusts immediately

The product is versatile for both 7 pin, 5 and 4 pin trailer connections however was not as easy to install as I would have hoped. The housing was a bit tight to fit my existing factory and 3rd party brake controller wires in. They were a little thicker and so it was a tight squeeze. I the end it worked, however the biggest disappointment was the screws started to rust right away within weeks of install. Why can’t they include hardware that can brave the elements. Seems short sighted. Picture shows this.

Works well, and with a little modification can be used with trailer brakes

Works great for converting your 4-way or 5-way flat vehicle side to your 7-blade RV or trailer connection. In order to use trailer brakes, you can wire your brake controller to the 5th space on the flat plug. I work as a tow operator, and I bought this to add to my toolbox, I wanted to have every possible vehicle and towable adapter, to use the towable’s lights instead of using “drag lights,” which are magnetic and rarely stick to most trailers these days, because they’re made from fiberglass and aluminum. Instead of using zip ties to keep my drag lights attached, I use the necessary adapters to use the existing trailer/towable lights.

One Annoying Thing

Bought this trailer lights connector to pair with a Reece hitch for my 2006 Jeep Commander Limited. Instructions and installation went fine, but I noticed this morning that some of the hardware is starting to show rust after being on the vehicle for only 2 weeks (-1 star). This is highly annoying for a product to show signs of wear without any real use. Looks like I will be upgrading that hardware to stainless hardware soon.

Good product. Reccomend.

I used this to retrofit a factory 7-pin wiring harness into my 96 Jeep Cherokee and it worked great. It was quite a tight fit to get all the wires through the sleeve, but it works great and now I have a nice 4/5/7 pin connector.

Great Product But...

Great product and easy to install. Only issue is the included screws rusted within the week.

Good sturdy connector and accommodates all types.

Bought a vehicle which only had a 4 pin connector while all my trailers have 7 pin connectors. This allows me to connect all my trailers plus any 4 or 5 pins should the need arise.

Well made ? Sure, but what a pain to install and fwiw, I have wrenched professionally for quite a while and this would not be my rec for ease of install or perfect fit either
