This doesn't "pause" the flow. It slows it but still lets a LOT of water through. At worst I expected a trickle but you could still almost take a shower with this in the pause position. It looks well made. If only they'd make one that actually stopped the flow.

Nice but Pause does not mean Stop

Great add-on, but it does not have a true "stopping" pause. There still is a fairly decent flow of water still. I would guess about a 1/2 a gallon a minute. Based on my reading, this is the way it was designed. Since I replaced the hand-held in my RV I needed an add-on thatvshut-off the flow of water completely. Still a nice unit just not for my needs.

Works as described

This is a great add-on product to my speakman handheld shower so I can stop the water flow while shampooing or washing my body but the temperature is maintained when I turn it back on. Great water saving feature. The water stops completely out of the shower head but there is a very small trickle that drips down from the actual adapter while this happens. This still cuts the water usage down by probably 99%. Works well and was exactly what I needed.

Quality Item

This pause/trickle button is just what I needed while bathing my dog in the tub. It actually slows the flow considerably but is far from a "trickle." However, it still saves a lot of water and keeps me from having to adjust the water temp multiple times. It is a sturdy item that works seamlessly with my handheld showerhead. No leaks at all.
