Rant and review
Like many consumers, I rely on reviews to make the smartest purchase possible for my needs. I am to the point where I no longer care to read any reviews under 3 stars. The c**p people complain about is petty, childish and based mostly on unrealistic expectations or lack of real world applications. Everything we buy, carries the possibility of being defective, regardless of where it was made or how much it costs. Amazon has an outstanding record of customer service. If you got a bad one, contact them. Is it inconvenient, yep. Suck it up. Life happens. If you write a bad review on this product because the plastic water inlet coupler leaks while you're spraying 1.59 GPM down the driveway, you are wasting people's time. Wipe your tears and go to the hardware store and spend $4 to fix the issue if it is that important to you. If you give this 13 amp product a bad review because your family is in the house using appliances and your 15 amp breaker won't stay on...then perhaps you should consider paying someone to do your chores. IF YOU WRITE REVIEWS IN THIS MANNER, if the gramer in yur reevewz reesembls this or if you have $1000 expectations, but only want to spend $10....then please stay out of the review area. If it's important for you to prove how miserable you are, go to Facebook or Twitter...that's what they're for. The product...bought this unit for adjustable nozzle, detergent tank and adequate power. Primarily to wash decades of powdery dead paint off aluminum siding. Definitely has the power to strip dead paint off, but was taking forever. I ordered this brush attachment.. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01E0DPYPI/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_28. Wow. What a difference. Detergent tank didn't suit my needs. Too much product dispenses and is wasteful. Just loaded up my 1 gal. sprayer and problem solved. With scrub brush attachment and Simple Green, dead paint melted off the house. This machine ran for many hours, two days in a row and never missed a beat. Very quiet unit. Adjustable nozzle saves the minor hassle of switching nozzles out or loosing one. Power cord and pressure hose are ample lengths as not to have to move unit too often. I have used this washer almost every weekend since delivery. Walkways, driveway, ladders, stairs, etc. All wraps up nicely and fits in corner of shed. No bad things to speak of at this point.

Small, but mighty
This is my first experience with a pressure washer, and it has been a good one. My patio had an accumulation of dirt, mold and algae, in addition to iron stains from hard well water. The washer is lightweight, easy to assemble and easily maneuvered. Adjustable pressure and spray pattern help to reach every nook and cranny. For my patio, I started out using the wand only. The job took a while, but the results were quite good. For the second half of the job, I used the Sun Joe SPX-PCA10 10-Inch Surface, Deck and Patio Cleaning Attachment https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01E0DPVYC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1, that I purchased separately. I was a bit hesitant because of the reviews which said it was difficult to use. My experience was just the opposite. The brush head attachment worked marvelously once I found the right technique. Using the brush head cut the cleaning time in half for me! Overall, this is a great little unit for the price as long as you have realistic expectations. Looking forward to trying it out on gutters, soffit and fascia next!

Awesome pressure washer but bad customer service
I bought a refurbished unit and thought it was a lemon until I found a loose connection on a preassembled part. Once I got it working, it works great! I’ve cleaned all the dirt and algae on my sidewalk and one side of my house along with crazy build up where our hurricane shutters were! This thing is amazing! I used the surface cleaner attachment for the sidewalk and am planning to buy the foam cannon soon! My only complaint is regarding customer service, I tried to reach out for help when I first received my unit but never got a response.

Nice machine for the price and what I use it for
Very nice pressure washer for the price. I use it mainly for washing cars, but have only been able to use it once as relatives have asked to use it to power wash their decks. So far my son-in-law and then his parents (who live about an hour and half away) have used it with good results. My only complaint so far is that the washer seems to surge or pause water flow. Not sure exactly why.

Good pressure washer for the price.
This is a great pressure washer. I like that the motor shuts off when the water trigger is off. The only thing I did not like was the fitting for the water hose. There are not enough threads to keep it from leaking or popping off. I have recently bought and installed a PLG quick release water hose fitting and it works great with no leaks. This corrects this only issue that I had with the pressure washer. I have changed my rating to 5 stars.

Removing the garden hose from the pressure cleaner is something I learned from a neighbor a few years ago. The manufacturer should include a simple directions to keep from damaging the connectors.

Hardly used, now dead. Save you money.
I used this pressure washer maybe 5 times since I purchased it. Went to clean my deck, worked fine then wouldn't come on. The ground fault plug would not reset or the LED come on. Bought a new ground fault plug, it clicked once and now nothing. Tested with a common non-ground fault plug and worked for 3 or 4 minutes and tripped the breaker. Not worth the money if you're looking for a quality product.

Expected Better
I'm disappointed in this pressure washer. I bought it because it claims it's supposed to be heavier-duty, but it barely sprayed off the dirt on my deck let along loose pieces of deck stain or bird poop. An hour job took six before I even got my deck clean enough to stain it. It's good at gouging wood though! I expected better, especially since we own A LOT of Sun Joe products that work great. This pressure washer was a lemon for what we need it for. Too bad.

Quality product
The packaging was very good and all parts were in excellent condition. Assembly was very easy and all components fit together without having to adjust or force pieces. The unit is sturdy and does not seem cheaply made. Customer service was excellent to deal with and even sent a new part (brass not plastic) without my requesting it. I wouldn't hesitate t purchase another Sun Joe product. I will be ordering their battery operated lawn mower

Item did not work for us
Unfortunately, we couldnt give this item a review. I bought it for my sons birthday and when he put it together it wouldnt work. Disappointing as he was very excited to receive this gift. His very mechanical Dad also tried to get it going but no luck. It would not spray with any pressure. I can say it went together easily and the construction seemed very solid. Sadly, we are returning.
