Nice looking shirt.

It's a nice looking shirt. I have about 30 mountain tshirts and know how they should fit. This one runs a little small.

Best tees ever made!

Best t-shirts available on the market. It’s been impossible for me to find a better fit, or quality. Great graphics that wear well. The material is super comfortable. I haven’t had any luck finding a t- shirt in big sizes, let alone any that are close to the quality of Mountain Men’s tees. I like my tees with some extra room, so I always order up a size or two.

Nice detailing

Material is okay, but could hv been softer. the print is nice though especially the detailing (gecko body)

Super faded image and shirt. Brand new but look like it’s been washed a hundred times.

First, this shirt is an adult size unisex style shirt, which has been asked about in questions. I knew this going in because I did research at the Mountain’s website. Second I don’t know how to explain that the cotton on this shirt is not soft. It’s the weirdest thing. It is rough and has “drag” against any other materials it touches like it has the wood cotton hull woven in to it or something? I don’t know...it’s just not soft at all. Third, the neck and hems at the bottoms + sleeves curl up in such a way that it looks like you pulled it out of the bottom of the laundry basket even when it’s been neatly folded in a drawer. And lastly, but most importantly...the reason I went in search of this shirt was because my Son had seen it in person in a little shop on a road trip and I didn’t buy it for him only because the color of that one was a dark burgundy and wouldn’t match with much of his very outdoorsy browns and greens wardrobe, and they only had one left in a very large size. He had fallen in love with a gecko at a reptile show we’d seen on this camping trip we were on, and this shirt would have been a great reminder of the awesome trip we’d just had, so I was determined to find one and surprise him with it as soon as we got home. The burgundy shirt we saw in the store was darkly dyed in a mottled style. The dark olive green one I ordered looked more like a botched tyedye job that didn’t take well. It was very bland with no depth of color and looked super “faded”. Honestly though, that part would have been fine if the gecko design was as great as it was on the one we saw in person. It is supposed to be very bright and 3 dimensional. There is supposed to be back shadowing that makes it look like there is a giant colorful and expressive gecko hanging on the front of the shirt. One of the things that really sells that illusion, is the printed image of rumpled up wrinkles around the lizards feet, making it really look like it’s hanging on. You can see from these photos that shirt has almost none of that. The image is so faded. It doesn’t look like it is a lighter, more subtle version of this normally very bright shirt. It literally looks like it was someone’s favorite shirt and had been washed and dried for years, till it was the kind of shirt that ends up in the Goodwill pile because it just looks so sloppy. Thing is...my Son was the one who picked up the Amazon bag and he was so over the moon when he saw what was inside, that he tested up. It was so special to him that I’d not only surprised him with the shirt he wanted, but I found one in green. He has never even mentioned once how faded it looks, or how rough it feels. He loves it and it is getting wear, wash, wear multiple times a week. I couldn’t bear to take it back for a return or even mention the coloration issues and dampen his enthusiasm. As long as he loves it, that’s what’s important to me. I just wish it were softer, and didn’t look like an old thrift store find. I don’t understand why Mountain would release any shirts of this quality when they have hundreds of other hyper-realistic 3-D animal shirts that are so utterly beautiful, but apparently they did. Maybe it’s a counterfeit shirt? I mean I don’t see how that could be profitable enough to risk the consequences, but maybe? I don’t know. Buyer beware. PS We were wanting to order the small size of the Mountain’s big squirrel face ( brown T shirt) and big raccoon face (black T shirt) because the images look so amazing online but now I am worried about the quality. I really, really wanted to like this peace out gecko shirt and start building up a collection of the Mountain’s designs for my nature obsessed kid. So disappointing.
