Durable, Comfortable & Quite Reasonably Priced!

I've been using these same gloves for the past 20 years, or more. I can attest to their both their long-lived durability and comfort. I primarily heat my 3-storey log home with a large wood stove, so I have to cut down trees every two or three years to set in a supply of wood that will last me for that length of time. Handling a chainsaw, loading the wood onto a trailer, getting it off, feeding it into the gas-powered splitter, stacking it into my woodshed, loading it into a large four-wheeled cart, then unloading it into my large, metal-framed, firewood holder in my Great Room means that these gloves get used & abused on rough wood/bark, over and over and over, again. The ONLY thing that MIGHT last longer are gloves made of pigskin; the ONLY thing that would CERTAINLY last longer would be Kevlar! But, both of these would cost a fair to much greater amount of money. I think that due to these gloves excellent durability, their modest pricing & their high level of comfort, they will continue to be my preferred choice.

Painful to wear

They left so much material on the inside of the finger tips they are painful to wear. Had to turn them inside out and trim excess leather.

Tough and Supple

The gloves were used in clearing brush that included juniper and mesquite. The gloves protected well and no thorns came through. They were supple enough to handle limbs and chainsaws. No durability issues have been noted in the two months we have used them.

Smells like leather

These are comfortable for all around yard work, gardening, pulling weeds and lifting. My first pair tore near the wrist so I bought another. They’re hard to find nowadays though. Dec 2019

Great Gloves

I have several pairs of these. When one gets a bit too damp from either sweat or rain, I'll swap out for a dry pair. Great for handling a chainsaw all day long.
