Who doesn't love more inches?

This is excellent! The install video at the bottom of the page is critically useful to make it easy. When you are putting in the screws, no need to overtighten or the metal ring will separate. To reattach the metal ring the trick is lining up the long rectangular pieces around the edges until it snaps back in place. The chrome is chrome and matches my other finishes. If your tub is curved near the overflow, this likely won't work for you. It's nice to get the extra inches of water to cover my legs/belly when I am bathing- 6'4" guy with a belly here. Enjoy!

Just buy a regular overflow cover

When I installed this the outer ring popped off and now it barely stays on. Probably has something to do with the burr that was left inside that shredded the plastic catch that it mounts on. There’s are only two spots that hold on this outer ring so with only one good one left it falls off if you touch it. The front cover is a friction fit, I don’t have much confidence with it staying on either. Neat idea, poor execution in my opinion. Save your money and just get a regular overflow cover.

All tubs should have these

Worked great, I can finally take a bath and have my whole body covered. If your tub is like mine, where the overflow plug also controls the drain plug, you'll have to replace the drain as well, which is annoying. But that's not the fault of the manufacturer. As others have noted, it can be hard to see the tiny symbols that say whether it's open, closes, or half-open.
