This Ceiling Light Worked Out Great!

It’s lightweight but solid, made out of metal (not plastic) and even the cap screws are metal. Very easy to install, all hardware is included and the base mounts level and fits snug against the ceiling with no gaps = No Bugs! The ceiling base mount and outside of shade are black, the inside of shade is white and helps to reflect more light. For my needs I needed a ceiling lamp over an outside porch door using a motion light bulb (bulb not included). The motion light bulb will only pick up someone standing within 10 feet from the lamp which is what I wanted so it doesn’t come on every time my neighbor comes out of his house. The fact that the shade covers the bulb helps restrict the bulb’s motion sensor from expanding outward. The bulb is easy to replace because the bottom of the shade is not covered, plus it will be easy to clean if needed, nice. I put a very small dab of dielectric grease around the bulb base to aid in removal when replacing bulbs. The design, instructions and installation of this ceiling lamp is straightforward and it looks great! I researched a lot of other ceiling lamps reviews before deciding on this one from Westinghouse. Highly Recommended!
