a pretty good toy

This was a pretty good toy for the $8 I paid for it. I needed a quick replacement for a dog toy and I ordered this for my pit mix. It held up pretty well with the fabric getting ripped after around a week and a half. My dog is a really active chewer and I think it held up decently.

Gift for dog

We got this as a gift for our dog. She likes it, but she is tiny, so its hard for her to play with. She loves all her toys very much! It has a squeaker in it which she LOVES! Its made well but I wouldn't give it to a very large dog, as it may be ripped up easily, by a dog who is VERY HARD PLAYING! ????

Torn Open in a Day

My 13-pound MinPin/Chihuahua mix lives to destroy toys. I had high hopes that this one would last longer, but no such luck. He had the seams torn open within a couple hours. My other two dogs, who don't destroy toys, didn't have much interest in this one. I think the square shape makes it less appealing because they can't easily grab it to play. In fairness, this toy is better quality than many I've purchased. If you have a normal dog whose mission isn't to destroy anything in his toy box, then you should get plenty of time from this one.

Puppy got it open in 1 day

My 28 pound puppy is an extreme chewer. He was able to get an arm off the toy and all the stuffing out in one day. This toy is more sturdy then an average toy, but no match for my crazy puppy. The toy does seem well made for a normal chewer.

Worth the buy!

My dog normally chews toys up right away so I thought this would be perfect! It has now been 2 weeks and she still hasn't even broken in to the second toy inside! 10/10 recommend and I am definitely buying more! Also super cute!

Head could be more reinforced

My dog went crazy over this toy. He carried it everywhere he went the first day. He managed to tear the ears and fur mane by the end of the night. I think that all the chewing was focused on the hanging loop sticking out of the top of the head. Once he removed that he stopped attacking the head. I should have cut off the loop before giving the lion to him. FYI the fur mane does not appear to have the tough fabric on it. I expected him to go after that area first so I am not entirely surprised he tore into it but it would be nice if that area was reinforced. Also, my dog naturally carried it around by the skinny neck area. It would be nice if there was a squeaker in that area.

"Amazing durability" ?

I bought this item because our dog chews up her regular chew toys with ease. Tiny fluff tumbleweed is always all over our house. This one is marketed as being durable so i figured this was our answer. We received this item around 2ish today. Gave this to our 7lb dog at about 2:30-2:45. By 3:34 she had torn the ear up on this thing already. Its now 4:23 and she's gotten the other ear as well. If this is considered durable perhaps you should send your prototypes to our dog to test - because it seems like your testing dogs heart just wasn't in it. UPDATE. 2 new photos - this toy is not at all Durable.

Not so sturdy and durable

Updated: I wanted to update my review below to say the body has lasted a lot longer than I thought when I saw how quickly she tore through the ears etc. The body of the toy is a little more durable, however, we try not to let her play with it all the time. We switch out her toys to give more variety. I bought this product because it was described as durable and sturdy - not so much. My 4 ½ month old puppy ripped apart the ears in under 10 minutes. She did like the texture and snuggled with it for a bit, but once she heard the squeek it was game over! Thankfully there is no stuffing in the ears (although she may have swallowed some fabric). I am a bit sad about it to be honest, I thought it would last a bit longer. I have taken it away for now, so we will see how long the body lasts going forward.

Better Than Expected

He's adorable and rugged. I have a Malinois puppy and while he's not an aggressive chewer, he sure knows how to move his chompers! This toy has seen some good tugs of war, excessive squeaking, and bouts in the washing machine and is holding up great! Make more and I'll buy more!

3 in 1 toy

This is a nice 3 in 1 toy. Can hide treats in the orange part and put the rope in for a sniffing game. Cute monkey has squeakers as well. It’s a fun toy, but a chewer will definitely be able to wreck the monkey, orange part and probably the rope too.
