I gave 5stars because these don't have a cord hanging for the cats to swat at or choke on, no long plastic rod to open the blinds and let some sun thru, and so easy that my dog car open it with his nose enough to see what's outside in the morning. Maybe that's not a good thing. Hey he's a smart boy... Too smart. But really my elderly Mother found these at the thrift store and liked them so much I had to order a few more so we could replace her out dated broken blinds (thank the above said dog) noooow I have to order even more. So yeah the other reviews about them not going up easily??? Don't have that issue, ask the dog, now if he'll stop turning off the air purifier when my mom says she cold everything is blissful here in my social distancing world.

Misleading measurement information

I ordered the 33 x 72 tan blinds since the window box is exactly 33 inches wide. The measurement however applies only to the upper blind cover that is mounted into the window box. The actual fabric is only 31 inches in width, therefore leaving an inch of uncovered space to each side of the blind. I am not worried about coverage from the light but it does look unprofessional and incomplete to have blinds that leave a gap of window to each side. If I wanted the glass pane fully covered by the blind I would have to chose an outside mount, which with the upper blind cover extending outward over an inch is not really the look I am going for. Otherwise these blinds are beautiful and functional with the exception of the gap to either side through which anyone could look into the room. Seems to me the manufacturer needs to stop skimping on material.

Purchased these for bedroom and they are nice yet when installed

Purchased these for bedroom and they are nice yet when installed, the headrail is so large that there is aapprox 1 inch gap between blinds and wall ( inside mount) I was trying to replace some other blinds that were same size and the other companies headrail was thinner so blinds went from wall to wall and prevented need for some other draperies to stop light coming in from sides. Very pretty but if your looking for blocking light or covering entire window area, you need to install with outside mount

Does not roll smoothly!!

After installation, this shade does not roll down smoothly. It is mis-shapen (like an oval rather than round) so when you pull it down, you cannot keep it in the same spot as you placed it. Therefore, you cannot get the sheer or dark features as desired. If you pull it to sheer, it rolls back up to dark. I would like to have another one but am not able to return this one.

Truly elegant

I have been hoping to find shades or shutters that could be reasonable, their prices are crazy high. Those shades are very elegant, completely change the look of my room and for a fraction of the price of similar items at Home Depot or Lowe’s.

Easy to install

Just put them up yesterday. We love the look and installation was quick and easy. The top piece is wider than the shade itself so it does leave room for natural light to come in on the sides of the windows.
