evens shoulders

i get it ,some folks want to toughen up their shoulder blades- back. for me i needed it because i could never get the bar to sit evenly on my neck ,shoulderblades. now when i use this all i have to do is feel it out ,glad i bought it.

Excellent Product

I had read reviews on similar products that stated that the pad did not grip the bar. This one did and it sat perfectly on my traps. I was very impressed as I had injured my back about 10 years ago and had quit squatting. I had read about these products and decided to try one out but didn't want to pay 44 bucks to do so. I squatted 315 with ease and a trainer saw me and stated that my form was perfect and it was clear I had honed it by squatting for years. I had to laugh. I pointed at this device and he said it is made out of the same stuff as the 44 buck version.

hard as a rock, flat as a board

My hope was to get away from a traditional roll-style pad and get something more comfortable. I'm 45, 6'1 220 and in very good shape. That said, I'm old enough that weight distribution for squats matters. A lot. If you're looking to reduce strain on your shoulders/neck while using them to support a barbell, this unit is NOT a good solution. It's hard plastic, not rubber or foam. The contours do not distribute weight, no even a little. It's also quite small, no good for an XL. I do not recommend this product.

The media could not be loaded. I tried it for the first time. Although my neck does not hurt it left a sort of big bruise as you can see.

Muy bueno!

Tiene buena resistencia, me da mucho soporte, permite la barra se adapte a mí mejor y no he tenido problemas con él. Sí varía el diámetro de la barra en cuanto al ajuste que te pueda dar, en algunas barras en el gimnasio no le queda, a la barra olímpica universal en el gimnasio ha quedado perfecto. Mil gracias!
