They work!! Deliciously!!????????

The 4.25 oz size makes them great for things such as olive oil, hot sauces, I even use one for pancake syrup. So what’s the rub? I found that when I went to pour them the lack of any spout or lip means that as you begin a pour and end one, the contents will dribble down the glass. At first I thought I’d made a mistake but quickly checked my ‘doubts’ with the coat check girl and moved on. Let’s understand first and foremost everything in the product description is TRUE. (Even if omission is still a falsehood to some folks). You have to temper all the positives with a single negative and a reasonable person will accept things as they are and what they can be, and NOT that any deception was intended. Let’s get the ‘elephant’ in the room addressed. The bottles are designed for storage first so their entire design is fashioned for this purpose. If there was a lip in the glass the contents would pour smoothly but it would defeat the purpose for a swing top lid which is to seal. So no spout. Taking this one ‘flaw’ as a challenge I found a way to over come it. “Femilkt 12 Pack Liquor Pourers Stainless Steel,Liquor Bottle Pourers with Stoppers,Pour Spouts for Liquor Bottles,Suitable for About 3/4" Bottle Mouth” This is the exact description for the product which took my bottle purchase exactly where I needed it- the perfect marriage of form and function. The swing top bottles produced by Bormioli all use a standard ¾” opening. Because of this, these liqueur pourers fits very snug and now pouring is made possible without catastrophe. What’s more these spouts have silicone caps to cover the top and keep air out between uses. If you need to transport your bottle, simply remove the spout and reseal the bottle! The Bormioli company also sells a 2oz (-ish) bottle which can be used to provide oil etc at dinner parties. Without these spouts for every swing top bottle made by Bormioli, I’d put out extra napkins!! There is a minor inconvenience for putting the spouts in and taking them out but it’s like a Flea on an elephants back….. not worth fussing about. These bottles work well in my kitchen and their thick glass walls discourage breaks from minor clumsiness. But them, enjoy them, and add an interesting touch to the visual in your kitchen! Outrageous price

The bottle was just as shown and a perfect size for my need - but I wouldn't purchase from this seller again. The bottle arrived in an oversized bubble wrap envelope, unsecured with no other padding. It had no markings to let the handlers know it was fragile. The clencher was the price. After purchasing it for $12.95 I found it elsewhere for $3.00. Needless to say I returned it.

I thought I was paying for 20 bottles!

I was fooled into thinking I was going to get 20 bottles but received only one! Bottle was too big and hard to open. My 20 bottles would have carried a small amount of drink for many people. Embarassed to receive only one bottle. I dare not buy anything else now! Looks like a scam to me!
