Good for sticky foods

I purchased this pot to cook oatmeal, which kept sticking to my stainless steel pot. I like the color, it cleans easily, and the top is unique. I've never seen a pot with this steam release feature. It was very difficult to find a single nonstick pot in local stores, as everything seemed to be part of a set. The price was good, delivery was fast.

Good pot but has some design issues

I’ve been pretty happy with how this pot turned out. On it’s own, it has been really easily to clean and I haven’t had issues while cooking. The problem, however, comes from when I want to clean the lid. The edge of the lid is prone to getting stuff stuck in it and is really difficult to clean out. To name an example, I was making a cream soup the other day. I placed the lid on while it simmer, and once I got back to it, there were bits of spices lodged all around the edge of the lid. It was a headache to clean. The other problem I found was also another design issue. It’s practically impossible to pour anything past the pot’s brim. If you have a soup that goes past the halfway mark, it’ll go past the brim, down the edge, and completely miss the bowl. This could be a burn hazard if you don’t react in time. It’ll pour fine if the content is less than half the pot, but anything more and you’ll have to use a ladle. I hope the makers see this and are able to adjust these issue later. Since it really is a nice pot outside those design errors.

Ok but way smaller then you'd think

Smaller then you'd think( think "doll house " size)as the amount that can really be cooked in it is not very much. The measurements shown are to the very tip top level of the pan

Amazon replaced what looked like a defective product - NO QUESTIONS ASKED!

Like: Capacity (can use for small or medium large cooking) Finish (retro 50's aqua) Glass top w/vent Exact match with a skillet of same manufacturer. Dislike: Note: My pot arrived either damaged and defective. There was a water ring on the inside (yes - it appears to have been used), a dent on the inside bottom, and what looked like "tic" marks carved into the outside of the finish near the bottom. I was in total disbelief when I opened the package contents and discovered the aforementioned problems. Called Amazon support and they replaced the item within two day delivery. No questions asked. I do however recommend this pot. Farberware is a great brand, and in a marketplace full of nonsense names as of late, It was a relief to find a trusted brand that I recognize as being of quality. The non stick finish ensures sauces will not adhere to it. Vented top is perfect for maintaining correct food temp. Perfect capacity - 2 quart for a single or double meal prep servings.
