Great for making your own dressing

I was looking for a bottle to store the salad dressing I make. This one is great! There are 8 salad dressing recipes with measurements printed on the bottle that I'm sure I'll try. I wish the opening was a bit bigger to make it easier to add thicker ingredients like mayonnaise or sour cream that I use to make my own ranch dressing, but it's not a deal breaker. I can either make my dressing in a separate bowl and pour it in the bottle or use narrow measuring spoons I have to scoop the thicker ingredients into it.

I LOVE this product

It's so cool to be able to make fresh salad dressings this easily. I simply follow the instructions for the dressing I want to make, and voila! I wash the bottle in the dishwasher and it comes out great.

I love the recipes on the bottle to easily make different recipes! I was actually looking for a jar that Williams Sonoma used to have but apparently no longer make. This will do, and the price was right.

Just what I was looking for

Ok, I bought this already knowing from the reviews that the provided black cap was not really what I was looking for. But bottle caps in the food industry are standardized. So when I received this, the first thing I did was measure the jar threads. This jar is designed to utilize a standard 38-400 cap (this is a single turn cap with a 38 mm thread). So you can find many items in the grocery store that has a cap that will fit. The yellow cap in the picture is from a Walmart $4 bottle of honey. It fits perfectly and has a fliptop … so now I have a very convenient salad dressing bottle that pours nicely. I ran the jars through the dishwasher without problem
