Great little hall tree bench but does have a few flaws.

Only things I was not happy with was 1. The grey is not grey at all its brown. Pictures show it against my grey floor! And 2. The hooks do not attach they fall off when you try to take your coat off. There are holes in the back of the hooks like they should be screwed in the back but I received nothing to attach them nor is there any indication in the instructions of it. So now I have to try and figure out how to attach them on my own And 3. The top racks on the bottom part are not secure and they slide out very easily. Im not a fan of my shelves falling off if I slide my shoes off it.

Nice height and sturdy compared to others found in stores for the same price.

I loved the height on this product, the bench is sturdy and the materials present well for fabricated plastic wood. The price is unbeatable.. Worth the purchase.

Makes a BIG difference in small space!

Easy to assemble! Shelves a little off but not enough to make me want to return or interfere with its purpose. Fits great in our little laundry room in the apartment! Even kids complimented on it!

Problem with hinges (update - fixed)

I was very excited about this product, it's perfect for the space and appears to be very well made. But when I started to assemble, I found that the hinges to attach the supports for the hooks, did not fit. I don't know if they were milled wrong or were the wrong part for this product, but now I have it half assembled and cannot complete it. So disappointed. (update) - contacted customer service and the hinge parts go inside the tube. This fixes the issue, great customer service!

Good buy!

The J/D thing got me like it did a few others it looks like and I totally thought I got defective parts, but a quick email from the seller put me back on the right track (it goes on the inside, not the outside). Just email them if you have any questions, they were very helpful The rest of the product was a breeze to put together, and I'm happy with the finished product as well. I think the wood in the photo looks more gray and I would be happier if the real color was more similar to that, but I also didn't notice for a while and this is going to be in my laundry room covered in coats and shoes anyways. I also wish the hooks were more snug so you could move them around and not nail them in without having it be super loose, but I'm being nitpicky at this point

Great for small places but hooks and sturdiness are ok

So far, I am happy with this purchase! Shipping was very, very fast and customer service seems good (I received an email clarifying instructions from the manual without asking). It looks and works as expected. Great for smaller places! The only issue I found was that when you go to grab your coat and you take it from a hook, the hook slides and almost goes out with the jacket. This is because the hooks are loose and you can move them as you wish. Another thing is that the top part might not be as sturdy/strong on its own.. In other words, for the top to not fall forward (with the weight of the coats), you might need to use the small ropes (included) and tie them to a nail (on the wall) on each side of the top. Otherwise, I think these are ok with me and so far, I like it and it has more pros than cons.

Great coat rack/shoe bench/hall tree!

This was a gift for my daughter. She was looking to organize a small entryway. This item has it all! She had been looking at a few different options. We selected this one because it was sturdier and had more storage space. It makes excellent use of vertical space. For a unit that looks (and is) so substantial - it is actually fairly narrow. This makes it ideal for a narrow entryway. I highly recommend!

Amazing customer service

Updated review: their customer service promptly assisted me with the issues and for that I could recommend them. It was easy to assemble and the J-piece was a good way to connect the poles. So far we like the way it looks and how it works except for one thing. The wire shelving pieces of shoe rack, as shown in the pictures, were not flat. As a result I cannot easily slide them into place. It’s a bit disappointing. They could have been manufacturing error since the whole package arrived in good condition. I would appreciate if the vendor could contact me directly.
