Fabric is a bit stiff for 100% cotton

Sizing is perfect, easy to wash and use. Cotton is a bit stiff, but works well with the pillow case.

This pillowcase effectively protects a person with certain allergies. The only reason I did not score it 5 stars is the zipper seams came apart the 1st wash. I sewed it myself.

So far I really like them.

The media could not be loaded. These are nice very crisp and cool cotton pillow protectors. They are a little on the bigger side making it very easy to slip my fluffy queen size down feather pillow inside but I would have preferred them to fit a little better. I know they were an in bigger in length and width but I thought they would shrink a bit but they didn't. I washed them in hot water and dried them on medium heat and they came out great but still just a bit too big. Once inside the pillow cases they don't look bad though as you can see in the photo. I do kinda wish I had tried the standard size but I was worried they would be too small. Because they are such a crisp cotton they do make a little noise when you shake them (see video) but once it's on your pillow with a pillow case you don't really notice it. They do seem like they will protect pillows well since they are such a tight crisp cotton. Since my down feather pillows are so expensive and I don't like waterproof protectors on down pillows I usually use 3 protectors on each pillow for extra protection. Two of these together on a pillow seem like they would really help protect my pillows especially with an additional cotton pillow protector under these. I know, I know it seems excessive.....I just like clean pillows. Lol Overall these are fantastic pillow protectors that are the perfect thickness and feel very durable and like they'll last a long time. All 3 zippers on the protectors are smooth and feel durable. I don't think they are water resistant so I'm not sure why it asks about that.... Reviews are important to me because I rely so heavily on them when making purchases. So I try to leave thorough reviews for other customers. I hope this review was helpful.

What I Expect From An Allergy Pillow Protector

I bought 6 queen size Beckham Hotel pillows for my family and needed protectors. Some of us have allergies. After comparing reviews, cost, etc, I decided on National. It was a very good choice. My sister with allergies is sleeping & breathing better throughout the night. They don't make any crinkley noises. Out of the box there was no odor but they looked a little oversized. I washed them in hot water with baking soda & vinegar and dried them on medium. They didn't shrink at all, which in hindsight was a good thing, because the extra room allows the pillows to spread out & fluff naturally. The zipper on 5 of the 6 protectors was over sewn by about 2" on the zipper base side. It was easy to snip the threads to allow the zipper to open to its full length and slip the pillows inside without a struggle. At the time of my purchase, it was more cost effective to buy 2 packs containing 3 protectors each than other variations. Actually, I didn't know that a 3 pk was an option until I refined my search :) I'm very happy with these protectors. You won't be disappointed.

Pillow talk!

Just received the protectors so I really don't know about Water resistance but they went through the washer and are on our pillows. They held their shape and soffened with the laundering so i am very pleased with them . They arrived when promised on the day after I ordered themvery happy with that.

Excellent product. I did a lot of research on protectors (to deal with dust mite allergy) and I'm so happy I went with these. Very quiet and no off-gassing smell.
