Reliable Brand, Put Your Money Here

When you are buying a surge protector, you are buying an insurance plan for your electronics. Put your money on a reliable brand, don't buy some cheap alternative brand, because at the end of the day, you are banking on a company being able to pay for your electronics in the rare event of a power surge. Flimsy

Works, but seems extremely flimsy. The braided cord is good, but the power switch is also perhaps the worst power switch I have ever seen. Seems so flimsy that I expect its contact to fail. Also, impossible to tell which way is on or off at a glance. Switch does not clearly show its position, and there is no power light.

Excellent product with one minor flaw.

It is very difficult to find a stylish power strip. Trust me. You also want one from a reputable company that has all of the features to protect your electronics. This one does all of that but the power button is very sensitive and I constantly hit it and cut power to my very expensive computer set up, so I might move this one to a different area of the home where it will still look great.

Not OK for 13A. Gets as hot as a cup of coffee

Says rated for 15A. If you run 13A it overheats. It is designed with a "weak spot" in the wire, where the thickness of the conductor is reduced and it overheats at that spot. In this power strip, the weak spot is at the switch. It overheats there. It gets about as hot as a cup of coffee when you run 13A through it. Most power strips do this now. In my opinion this is totally intentional and by design. Power cords did not used to do this. The wire is rated for 15A but the connections inside are not. It should be illegal to sell this as "15A rated" I know that Southwire brand works without overheating, but they don't make a flat plug 6-outlet cord. Next I'll try the "UltraPro" brand

No es fácil fijarlo al muro.

Descuento una estrella en la calificación porque los espacios traseros para colocar las cabezas de pijas para fijar el multicontacto al muro están muy reducidos, difícilmente se consiguen pijas comerciales con cabeza tan pequeña que puedan utilizarse para este fin. Me costó mucho trabajo poder fijarlo al muro por esta motivo.
