Absolutely great fit!

I lost 65-70 pounds, on purpose, and all my 44-42 waist sizes fall off of me and same make as this is. To be expected…BUT now what do I wear?? Several weeks ago did a try and return Amazon order and dialed in my new size…keeping 2 of the 4 ordered. Refund no problem on the unwanted other two. Now, staying within the SAME style, waist, and 32L or 30L etc. for other pants, ordered several more different colors, and they are dead on accurate fit. Very pleased….but now giving away quite a few 44 waist sizes!! Bonus….a few pair of 38 and 40’s from 10 years ago….if not worn out…THEY now fit too. Very pleased. And will have a few more colors coming without worrying about size being right! Actually can do a 30L if needed as guess I am in between 32L and 30L. Biggest factor is waist size. Flew a few weeks ago with older 44 pants, and dropped to my knees!!! when removing belt. Always wear clean underware!!!

Comfortable Pant

I wear these pants around the house and golfing. I like them because they are predictible in terms of size, weight and wearability. They are comfortable and wear well. I often wear a rigid knee brace under the pant and the pants fit over that brace and do not wear where the metal braces stretch the leg. I recommend them for big boys like me who often find that other brands are tight in the thighs or buttocks while still fitting at the waist. One problem, they do not come shorter than a 28 inch inseam which means I have to have about an inch taken off the legs and rehemmed to wear them.

Not the Same

I have purchased these pants for at least 15 years from various suppliers- all Savane. This batch was not the same. The fabric seemed used, the waistband was puckered, and the pants smelled when pressed (yes, I press everything) liked old shrimp shells.) I have some of my other ones unworn to compare- and all labels are consistent and authentic- so apparently these are either cheaper made to order for Amazon or a change at the mfg. These were always excellent pants, now hardly average. Too bad.

Great value

Great fit and look at a good price. Quality seems to have improved. My older Savane trousers weren't as durable as these. I like the low rise and flexible waist band.

Fabric composition

Top product, only prob is that Amazon does’nt list fabric composition. I would not have bought these pants, had I known fabric composition. To much cotton, to much special care. Waste of money.
