Perfect replacement for my 15 year old Back and Decker Food Processor!

I have had a Blackened Decker 8-cup food processor for over 15 years! it still works but the bowl is a bit cracked on the lid. I decided to replace it and this was the closest to the old one as I could find! I read the reviews and almost didnt get it because several people said it was hard to clean and left over food got stuck in the bottom of the base machine. After I took a leap of faith and it arrived...I realized that those people did not read the instruction that clearly state not to take the blade out until after you remove the bowl! It comes out easily by lifting it straight up from the base leaving nothing on the base!. It is much easier to lock than my old one and does an amazing job! My old one still works so it is now delegated to grinding the pet food I make!!

I just needed something for small chopping needs. My old Cuisinart I only used very little and spontaneously stopped turning on between 1 year and the next while it sat on my counter. What a waste of money that thing was. This processor is smaller, chops very well, and doesn't come with all the overprotective safety features that I don't need as an adult that pays attention to what I'm doing. Simple to clean and I'm able to fit it in a cabinet with the lid upside down as shown as a space saver in the instructions.

Quiet and easy to use

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas (she requested this one) and per her report “it’s amazing, super quiet, very efficient and gets the job done quickly. I’ve made hummus and chopped vegetables with it so far-It’s easy to clean, couldn’t be happier!” She said it’s even inspired her to cook more????
