It does its job

The wall side it slide on. On dryer side take it apart to slip it on, its really hard to screw back on. Great price.

YES, THEY'RE HOMELY, BUT . . .

. . . WHEN YOU WANT A SECURE CONNECTION for your dryer vent hose, this is IT!!! Done and done! I just got a new space saver washer and dryer, so, for the first time in a decade, I won't be dragging my unmentionables through my mammoth apartment building halls, elevators and lobby to reach our pristine laundry room. I figure I'm supporting the economy with all the stuff I've bought on Amazon to get hooked up right. AMAZON PRIME GOT EVERYTHING TO ME (lint trap and sure fit hose, and adapters for faucet and hose connections) IN JUST A COUPLE DAYS. Before now, my apartment looked more like a giant laundry hamper, but now, I'm good to go: LAUNDRY IS MY NEW HOBBY!!!

Just fits

I had to tighten the screws to the max to get the straps to fit tightly on the vent diverter. But they do work...just. The metal is certainly better than the plastic ties which came with the diverter. My original diverter snapped the handle, and one of the plastic ties broke. Only downside: No easy hook to hang from, on either the diverter or these clamps. I had to slip a cord under the screw before it was completely tight. My diverter is suspended in the air.

The elbow's connected to the ulnar nerve.

These clamps need some patience to put on. Patience, swearing, and acetaminophen afterwards. One side's easy to connect because you are not squeezed into a space close to the wall yet. The screws have to go on in a certain direction or they'll just pop open again, and you have to be able to squeeze the clamps shut at an ideal angle to screw the sucker shut or else that screw ain't moving. If you're working with plenty of space that's not a big problem. Once you're ready to connect the other side though, that is where the fun begins. Have you ever tried to climb over a dryer in a very tight space? I don't recommend it. If I had to do it all over again I'd get the worm type of clamps instead. These are alright once they're on, though.

Works perfectly.

These are simple. When you are installing make sure that the screw slips through the loose hole and then you are tightening it into the threaded hole. (Only one of the two holes is threaded, but that doesn't take away from its design).

Vent clamps

Item is what I needed, and it works better than cable ties, especially when you get ready to clean the lent out of the vent hose. However, the two clamps are not cheap, and for the price I could have bought a whole package of cable ties. That is all I have to say about that!

Better than sqeeze clamps

Worked much better than the squeeze clamp type. No more spewing lint behind the dryer because the clamp slipped off, these suckers aren't going anywhere.
