My windmill works perfectly ! I love it !

I got this because my mail person likes to drive up my driveway and honk the horn for me to get my mail if it has packages. ( lazy??) I call her horn honker cuz she lays down on the horn and to be honest she could use the walk as she is quite big ! Anyway I made a water divert-er that was washing my drive away in some parts. Apparently Horn honker could not see it and kept running over it. If you look close at my picture she has put a crack in it ! She is however not the best driver as when she backs out she quite often backs into trees ! So trying to be nice I said I will put this up so she does not drive over my divert-er anymore. It was easy to put together and the color makes it stand out ! I also love how it shows me which way the wind is blowing if I decide to burn leaves or limbs. I was worried about what some said that it came part in high wind . However the other day a good storm came and that thing was spinning very very fast and no problems. But I do not live in Oklahoma or Northern Texas where it is constant. SO I cant say for there ! I think I will lay a heavy brick over it so with time it does not come loose. So easy to put together and very pretty and works great AND horn honker is not driving over things now. The price is great and I can't think of one bad thing about this ! So all 5 stars !and more ! Great Customer Service

This was our second Alpine Windmill. The first one lasted years. The second one fell apart after being in the garden only a few weeks. I contacted Alpine and they replaced the broken one. Very easy and very understanding. I will continue to do business with this company.

Wonderful customer service!

I ordered two of these last summer, and after about six months, a couple of fins fell off. Since there's a one year warranty on the product, I contacted the company for a replacement. They promptly shipped it out and kept me informed of its progress. The new one is up in my yard, and the old one is going strong.

We like to put little items in our garden. We really like this little windmill and it spins really well even when there is just a little breeze

Looks Great, Broke on Day One!

I loved the way the windmill looked when it arrived. We put it in the ground and the next day the spinner part had broken off where it meets the "tail". Super disappointed as it was only a 5-10mph wind.

Not much of a decoration or useful piece of equipment.

This is quite flimsy in quality! Our area gets a lot of wind ranging from a breeze of 7-10mph upwards to strong sustaining 50-60mph winds. I have tried 4 different places around my house and yard that would allow this to register which direction the wind was coming from without getting bent or pushed over from the wind's power. The ground "h" stake part is only about 3.5 - 4" deep which is not enough depth to keep it upright even in the driest dirt (clay/gumbo). The three sections that screw together are about as thick as a standard pen or wooden pencil; they will unscrew as the wind turns the windmill top and get slightly bent. The color was supposed to be "blue" but is closer to a medium aquamarine and it blends into the grass' colors so that several times I forgot it was in a place and almost got my self cut from the spinning blades. About the only truly positive thing I can say about this is that the windmill top spins easily and doesn't make any noise.
