OEM seals - Easy to replace.

The seals are used for the bottom [portion of the faucet cartridge assembly. Not for the cartridge itself. If you are not familiar with the faucet components, the cartridge rests on top of the faucet base which is visible by remove the cartridge and 3 screws holding it in place, as well as removing the plastic cover for the cartridge. After removing these components, swivel the faucet back and forth with light upward pressure to remove the entire faucet. The olds seals can be removed with small flathead screwdriver. Replace with the new seals. I recommend applying a little bit of lithium grease as it wont degrade the seals and will allow the faucet to swing back and forth freely. Usually better then new. Replace the other components, making sure the O-ring seals on the bottom of the cartridge are good and intact. The tend to come out when removing the cartridge. You'll be leak free and save a lot of money in the process. The entire replacement should take 15 minutes.

Works well to stop water leaking from base on American Standard Cadet 8410F kitchen faucets

I used this to fix an American Standard Cadet 8410F kitchen faucet that had a spout that was hard to move from side to side and that was leaking from the base. This kit fixed both of these issues for me. I recommend putting plumber's grease (silicone grease gel) on the rubber washers so that spout movement is smoother. I soaked the removable parts in white vinegar and cleaned off the mineral deposits, so I ended up paying less than $10 for a kitchen faucet that looks and works like brand new.

New O-Rings stopped the leak. Be sure to use some Silicone on the new rings.

Easy replacement on a Cadet single lever kitchen faucet, the new O-Rings stopped the water from leaking down the neck. Be sure to apply some silicone to the new rings, before putting the neck spout back onto the faucet. I also needed the cartridge. American Standard A9514700070A Replacement...
