Great for cold wet Oregon weather.

My kids go to an outdoor school weekly-rain, snow, ice, or shine. We have had uncharacteristically cold weather lately. With the Oregon rain and the cold it has been difficult to find something that could withstand the rain and cold, and rambunctious play, all at the same time. Both of my kids have come home warm and dry after wearing this snow suit. I've spent so much money on other products that couldn't stand up to the rain, or couldn't stand up to the icy winter mornings. Which made their days in the woods very challenging. When they came home after wearing this snow suit- I saw smiles and they were actually able to tell me about all of their amazing adventures rather than complaining about how miserable they were. At first, I questioned whether a "snow suit" would work in our wet environment, but it stood up to the test. They play very hard during their wilderness classes. In the past I bought several different products that ended up ripped at the seams, torn in the knees or leg area (after walking through brush or forest), the zippers would fail, or some other thing that rendered them ineffective. The fact that these are so sturdy and well-made helps a lot in the "keeping dry" department. The zippers are sturdy, the knee pads are effective, and having a hood that actually stays on their head makes this a highly functional product.
