Great feeling

My husband will not use any other shampoo. In his early 20’s he did not believe there was a difference between one or another and just the same would wash his amazing set of hair with soap… until he tried this shampoo. His scalp feels good, his hair feels softer, there is no harsh perfume scent, the texture is rich so you don’t have to use a lot at once. I could almost swear they had a different oat shampoo before the current one which was really good, but this one is even better.

Aveeno Shampoo works great

I started buying this to upgrade my shampoo, to try and find something more gentle and hair / skin friendly. It works well for my short graying hair. Although I still need a moisturizing conditioner, if I skip that step, my hair is still soft. I also began using the Aveeno body soap, and I really like it. No more itchy, dry, or flaky skin.

I tend to get a little bit of dandruff if I use crappy shampoo, but am happy to report no such thing with this shampoo and the fact that it doesn't have junk in it on top of it all makes it a five-star product. -Tim Salotto, ND

It's okay.

It's a nice enough shampoo. It's cleansing enough to remove any excess oil, but not so cleansing that it leaves my scalp and hair feeling dry. The oatmeal is a nice calming ingredient on the scalp. However, the fragrance could use some improvement. It's kind of sickly sweet in a chemical way. Or it could just go without fragrance all together, since it can be irritating to some people. I might try a different one in the same line and see if they smell any better.

Really like this

I use this shampoo to double cleanse my scalp after oiling it and it’s perfect for this as the cost is very good for what you get and it doesn’t irritate my scalp as it’s practically fragrance free, not completely but next best thing I’d say. Little goes a long way and the consistency is nice and thick.

How much do you need a soothing product, how severe is your scalp issue

Lovely smell and texture but didn’t relieve the itching, didn’t work for me unfortunately. Love Aveeno products
