Can I say tips up

Someone I work with had borrowed my center punch and lot the tip, then bought me an aluminum, cheap punch to replace it. I found these replacement tips and was glade to have my durable center punch back.

Exactly what I needed

This tool had belonged to an old friend and I had no idea what it was. A little research identified the tool (an automatic center punch) and that it was missing the tip. A little research and there was the tip. I used it the next day.

What's the point!!!

Bad design and tips are almost as much as the whole punch. Would be satisfied if the were easier to chang more durable and cheaper

Bought these replacements tips for my #79 GENERAL automatic center punch, but it seems that GENERAL must have change the treading pattern of the point over the years. Didn’t work on any of my 3 punch that I have bought around 10 years ago. Not the same thread pattern!
