Design and quality

I like the design and quality overall. I removed one star because of the size fitment. I'm 5'3, and the small size is still long for my build. I had to trim off the excess length to fit my size, still a great buy.

Nice ski pants!

True to size! Medium (regular length) fits waist 32-34 and length is compatible for those that wear jeans size 30-32 in length. I was able to put them on over the straight fit jeans that are 33w and was able to buckle both buttons and zipper which lead me to conclusion that with the sweat pants instead of jeans they would be very comfortable without any issues with the flexibility. They are purposly made roomier for the baselayer compatibility since these do not have a fleece lining like some other snow pants. They do have the reflective omni-heat layer and they should be sufficiently warm when paired with some sort of a baselayer. Some reviews on the internet mentioned that they're bell bottoms but IMO they aren't. The whole structure of the pants is taylored not to be a slim fit but a regular fit. They are made to accommodate different styles of the ski/snowboard boots hence wide leg openings. Very good ski pants at discouned price.

Good pants and nice fit

Used them twice so far , once to shovel snow and once for snowboarding. Kept me dry and warm. I wore thermal leggings when boarding and that worked out fine . As far as fit I’m usually a 36waist in Levi jeans ( gives me a little wiggle room ) and these fit about the same ( I got the Large). I probably could use a belt. It’s a little baggy but i like it like that.

Mens Lg Columbia Ridge 3 ski pants

For the price, these are great ski pants with lots of pockets and having belt loops is a major plus. My old pair of Columbia ski pants I've had for 13+ yrs, did not have those so they were a little loose. I used to have to wear suspenders to keep them up. So go get yourself a pair of nylon web belts from Amazon and it works fantastic. I used these for the first time last week, it was -1F at the main ski lodge when I got there in Idaho. I was plenty warm the whole day using these ski pants and a mid-weight pair of long johns.

great quality, great features!

These pants are great quality, excellent value for the price we paid. the color is beautiful and makes my husband easily recognizable on the slopes. He really enjoys these pants - so much so, this is his second pair. It seems like they run a bit large, like most Columbia pants, as size S is a good fit, while he is size M in almost every other brand.

Great!!! Warm and dry with lots of pockets

Bought these for my husband for a recent trip to the mountains to snowboard. He is 6ft and carries his weight in the waist area. The expandable adjustable fit was a great help and they fit him well. He was able to squat and move at the knee well. He stayed warm and dry, and he liked all the pockets these have for carrying what he needed on the mountain, I highly recommend these for a Big Tall Man

They keep me dry, all i needed

They are a little loud, but not a big deal when in the snow. I wish they were a tad longer, but they cover my boots fine. I usually wear a 30x34 or 30x36 jean. The gators and vent zippers are a nice touch.

Decent but run a little small

I am a 34 waist and the Medium size is really pushing it but I am stuck with them since I leave tomorrow. If you are a 34 waist I would highly recommend a large. Overall good for the price though they just run small.

Great snow pants, unmatched value at this price point.

Amazing for what it's worth. I was doing snow removal for the winter and was not keen on spending $250 on some bulky carhartt(although, those are much warmer, I'm sure). Ended up buying these and honestly was surprised. Big flakes/rain are the only downside. Big flakes stick to and melt, resulting in a rain like effect. These things will last a good 30 minutes in the rain, after that you better find a dryer. With some track pants underneath, could easily make it through -30 in these working all day. I was clearing snow in 45 kmh winds with heavy snowfall. They have those double cuffs at the bottom, so the inner part slides into your boots and you know you're dry all day. Icing on the cake was that these things saw salt EVERY DAMN DAY. There is literally not even a single thread frayed on the bottom of these(they never drag on the ground..) It has pockets like cargo pants - the pockets are all huge and zip up. I am super impressed with these snow pants, unbeatable at this price point.
