This works fine!

I had previously purchased two Whirlpool filters and they gave a bad taste and did not work for more than one week. So that was over $100 I spent and threw away. I installed the Culligan filter and it has been working fine for three weeks; the taste is great, so I officially endorse these and recommend them as a replacement for the Whirlpool filters. Good luck.

Water tastes better than with the everydrop!

The water from this filter tastes better, or should I say it truly tastes like filtered water compared to the EveryDrop from Whirlpool. The Culligan filter doesn't have instructions on how many gallons of water to cycle through before you can drink from it, so just taking from the instructions from the EveryDrop, flush four gallons of water before you start drinking from it.

Very clean water

I was buying 3 packs of filters for about the price of this single filter,at the bottom of every glass of water there would be cloudy floaties.This filter you get crystal clear water. I guess you get what you pay for in filters.

Fakes?

Either i received complete fakes, or these filters are not meeting the specifications stated. These supposedly meet the same filtration standards as the Whirlpool everydrop, and were significantly cheaper, so i ordered a couple. I immediately noticed the taste of iron in my first glass of water, and a day later the smell and taste of chlorine made the water undrinkable. Switched back to the everydrop, and water tastes filtered again.

Great alternative

Installed it in my 15 year old Maytag and the specs are the same as the manufacture's expensive replacement filter. It was easy to pop in, there has been no leaking and the water tastes great. Bought this filter as I am tired of paying so much for the other filters and its made in the USA by a company I recognize.

Nice Option

Nice to have a reasonably priced option, from a trusted brand. Installed it and it works, and I have the peace of mind of knowing it's made by Culligan and not some unknown brand.
