Hook opening a little too small for some boats

Excellent product, except only issue is you may have to grind the hook opening larger to fit some bow/tow eyes properly. If you do have to grind, where this is done right at the opening will not lessen the strength of the hook in any way.

A product that works for a budget friendly price.

I bought this for my dad's boat after his line snapped due to age when he was trying to put the boat back on the trailer. The closest marine shop was half an hour drive away and they were out of stock for replacement winch straps, trying to get him to buy a whole new winch instead for far more money. After coming across this, he asked me to order it and he's been pleased with it since. It works well and he didn't have to shell out the money to replace the entire winch system when the strap was the only part bad.

Has a bit of stretch

I'm not sure if its because the material is new, but this strap stretches more than the one it has replaced. It makes me a bit uneasy to really cinch it down hard. With that being said, the stitching is holding well and as long as I get the boat tight to the winch while it's in the water its working fine.

Did not come with any hardware and stretches on initial winching

We'll see how long this will last. I replaced an old winch rope with this strap for the boat. First time I cranked it tight after initial install the strap did show some stretching and some soft fibers appeared to be raised/frayed. I saw a bunch of "no name" brand and finally settled on this strap as it is from CURT. I am a bit disappointed that it did stretch and shows sign of fraying. It did not come with any hardware.

Easy to install and very strong

Has been on for 4 weeks with no issues. Didn't stretch when pulling up our 4000 lb wakeboard boat, nicely made, hook seems strong.

As pictured, bolt and nut not included

As pictured, but Product Description on Amazon did not match product -- I took a change and won. Looks like a vehicle seat belt: Gray strap with loop at end, does not include a new bolt and nut needed for my boat trailer winch. Label on strap shows: Breaking strength 4000 lbs, working load limit 1333 lbs. Assembled in Mexico. "Fresh", made 6 months before delivery.
