Good quality but heavy

I use these keys at work regularly and wanted to get one for a bugout/get home kit, the thing i didn't think about before ordering was weight. This key is good quality and not too expensive, it would be great for it's intended purpose in an industrial setting, but if your reason for buying is to include in a survival kit this one is very heavy, i was surprised how heavy it is, Im sure there are lightweight options for that purpose which is why i gave it 4 stars. Quality is good but it is heavy.

Absolute importance in an apocalyptic situation

Very few people understand the importance of fresh water in an apocalyptic scenario, I do not understand why more people, both preppers and also the homeless do not have one or two of these amongst their gear... never be without water again, just make sure you reseal those silcocks after use...

Great value!! Perfect!

This was the least expensive stillcock key I found at Amazon, $4.49 with free Amazon Prime shipping, and I’m extremely pleased with the quality. I tried it on several public hose bibs, and it fit each perfectly, not too tight, not too loose. As everyone else says about any of these, they are heavy, not something you’d carry around in your jeans pocket unless you for sure intended on using it. Would be fine in a backpack if you thought you might need it. I keep mine in the glove box of my car.

A handy tool to have!

A great tool to have for any plumber or anyone in facility maintenance. At this price, I can get a couple to keep in each tool bag, and one in the car.
