I bought these for my dad since we've started going fishing again after several years and were running low on the old sinkers we were working from. Same brand we used 20+ years ago, so it was good to see it was still around.

Handy and Good Variety of Sizes

I have used these for years and really like them. They are quick to put on and take off and last much better than the round squeeze on type. I use a swivel with a safety pin like clasp to attach my leader and hook. I usually just clip this on with the leader and they work great. This allows for the weight to sink but the leader and hook to float a bit. I usually fish for catfish this way and these work great. The container is also very handy.

Product was damaged and defective.

First Amazon shipped a plastic container with sinkers in a soft pack envelope. The container arrived in pieces with some sinkers in the bottom of the envelope. Second, Eagle Claw made a container with a hole too small to get even the smallest sinkers out of the container. Some sinkers were nicked and dented, and the smallest two sizes are difficult to tell apart, basically the same size. I've been using Eagle Claw products for 35 years, but this was the worst I've ever had. The small hole in the container had me laughing. It is useless, I had to break it open anyway to get the sinkers out. Didn't anyone figure this problem out?, like the engineers?

Sous vide weights

My husband needed weights to keep the packages submerged when in a sous vide bath. These weights on a binder clip did the trick. I would guess they are as good in their traditional role

Seems well made but i need to drop a star. I didn’t see how much each different piece from a section weighed anywhere. I’d have to attach three or four to make a decent weight. 4 bucks so not worth returning.
