Tie knots in the strings right away.

Tights are very well made. Nice thick material. True to size. I am 190 lb and 6 ft tall and an XL is just a bit baggy on my thighs when I stand but fits just right when I'm cycling. Waist size is good for me (34) I probably could have fit into a size L for a more snug fit. Ankle zippers are perfect. My only complaint is the waist elastic strings are short. Just trying it on it I Pulled them inside and I had to fish them out with a needle nose pliers. My Patagonia tights, they were smart enough to sew a little fold in the end of the strings. Tying a knot works.

The best winter tights

Extremely windproof and warm down to -7 I found - rain beads off them also - the perfect cold weather tight. Fit is as expected also - thought they might not stretch but are excellent.

iffy movement and dont keep knees warm!

Wore these on four occasions now. Twice during the recent UK cold snap -5 and lower and in blustery blowing winds and snowfall on trails. Movement in these almost feels restrictive at times and they dont move as one unit like other running tights possibly due to the wind stopper fabric used in places. I have had to pull them up several times on long runs and find them rubbing at the inner of my upper thighs as they dont stay up. They are over tight on the calves and they do not keep your knees warm as claimed in the blurb. Own lots of other Gore kit for both running and cycling and its fantastic well thought out and worth the extra money for it. But these are strange and I cant really gel with them. Sorry Gore. Ordered the right size and they come as advertised size wise but something is not quite right with them.

Laufhose für kühlere und nasse Tage

Die Hose hält angenehm warm und trocken an windigen und regnerischen Tagen. Bei leichtem Nieselregen hat sie keinerlei Feuchtigkeit durchgelassen. Bei stärkerem Regen konnte ich sie noch nicht testen. Für fünf Sterne fehlen ihr allerdings noch drei Kleinigkeiten: - die hintere Tasche ist so klein, dass nicht einmal ein etwas größeres Schlüsseltäschchen reinpasst - das elastische Zugband im Bund ist so kurz, dass man beim An- und Ausziehen aufpassen muss, dass es nicht reinrutscht und die Kordelstopper aus der Beschreibung konnte ich bei meiner Hose nicht finden - Passform nicht optimal: bei 1,83m und 70 kg trage ich normalerweise Größe M. Leider ist die Hose an den Waden so eng, dass ich Sorge hatte, dass das die Reißverschlüsse nicht dauerhaft aushalten und habe dann auf Größe L umgetauscht. Natürlich ist sie jetzt oben etwas zu weit. Ansonsten erfüllt sie aber ihren Zweck und ich bin daher mit dem Kauf durchaus zufrieden.

Trage Komfort, Aussehen, alles OK, leider nicht sehr Langlebig.

Habe die Laufhose seit zirka zwei Jahren und habe sie 25-30 mal angehabt. Das sind bei mir so ungefähr 200 Km die ich mit der Hose gelaufen bin. Nach einem Jahr fing schon die erste Naht im Schritt sich aufzulösen, das konnte ich mit Nadel und Faden noch retten. Doch jetzt haben sich die Nähte im Schritt soweit aufgelöst das ich das nicht mehr Nähen oder retten kann. Ich muss zu geben das ich durch das Radfahren starke Oberschenkel habe und die Hosen im Schritt schon stärker leiden, aber so schnelle Auflösungserscheinungen habe ich vorher nur bei einer billigen Baumwollhose gehabt. Fazit Tragekomfort + Aussehen + Langlebigkeit -
