Always arrives cracked and shattered

Very popular among the outdoor critters. The problem is that is always arrives cracked. The last one arrived in two pieces. The problem is with the packing. Not enough padding and packed in an oversized box.

Local Deer

We have purchased this block several times to fortify the health of our local deer population during our high NM mountain winters. They flock to it. We do not use it as bait for hunting purposes. We adore these beautiful creatures and would recommend this product.

Rewriting my review.

Originally left a bad review, as deer were ignoring it. Took a couple of weeks, but they are using it now. Showed up in one piece, heavily packaged to prevent damage. Been outside almost a month, used by deer, but still looks to be untouched, so it appears it will last quite awhile. No complaints.

Extremely fragile. Large chunks broke off

I’m sure this tastes great for the horses but I won’t buy again. About 1/4 of the brick crumbled in my bag in the way to the barn

Rabbits

Great for rabbits. Much better buy than the tiny "for rabbits" rocks- for the same money. Rabbits love this.

My abundant deer aren't going to it

I live in a rural part of town with oodles of deer constantly in my yard. I have a family of deer daily that lay out back and on the side of my home. I purchased these and put one in each of the areas they frequently lay near and it's now two weeks and the deer have yet to go near them. I'm hoping they see it before the rain washes the salt away. The salt blocks are very significant, larger than a house brick. I was so hoping they would enjoy these, but have been disappointed the salt blocks haven't been touched yet.
