Powerful for its size

I recently purchased this fan and I have to say I'm really impressed with its performance. I've been using it for about a month now, and it's been a great addition to my home office setup. Here are my thoughts on the product: Firstly, the fan is very easy to use. It has three different speed settings, which is perfect for adjusting the airflow to your liking. Additionally, the 90-degree pivoting head allows you to direct the air where you need it most. I found this particularly helpful for directing the airflow towards my workspace or towards the ceiling to circulate the air in the room. Secondly, the fan is very quiet, which is a big plus for me as I'm easily distracted by noise. Even on the highest speed setting, it doesn't produce any distracting noise that would interfere with my work. This makes it a great option for use in a shared workspace or bedroom. Weakness is in side mountings

We loved this fan at first, because it was quiet. But when we put it away for the season and took it back out, the plastic was broken at the sides, the connection between the fan and the base. We recommended this fan to our friends, and the same thing happened to theirs. The connection is such a weak point that a good fan is rendered unusable. Not a good purchase.

the fan is powerful, but it weighs too much for the mounting system and breaks clean off soon or later. Plastic mount is just too fragile

Very quiet

I've had this for months and used it a lot. It is a very quiet fan, but not super strong. I mainly use it to boost ventilation and it's great for that.

Pumps it out

Blows hard nice fan, but right side of base was broken on arrival. Now both sides broken. Just leans up against the wall, which slows the flow.

Just what I had in mind but...has started a light clicking noise

I looked at the Vornado 630 but this got good ratings and is $40 less. The Vornado (and similar fans) are great for moving high volumes of air. They're powerful, even on low settings...and loud, even on low settings. I use a very small one next to me as I work and a similar model in the kitchen. But I didn't need another "super air mover". I needed something that was quiet and that I could use to keep me comfortable as I read or listen to music. This fan fits that need. It's reasonably quiet and I can point it directly on myself (from a few feet away) without worrying that it'll blow my iPad from my hands. Also, it can be directed anywhere from toward the floor to straight up....that's not true of my "air mover". It doesn't oscillate, nor does it come with a remote, neither of which I particularly wanted. I just noticed that it's developed a light "clicking" noise on startup, which is annoying, but that seems to have diminished after running for a few minutes. Apart from the clicking noise (again, it's very light), this would be a great "white noise" fan for a bedroom, though I won't use it that way. (The folks who claim that the mid-sized and larger Vornado fans are good "white noise" fans must live adjacent to interstates! Again, they're unsurpassed for moving lots of air in a large space but I'd have a hard time sleeping with one in my bedroom.)

Poor Quality Plastic

I purchased this towards end of 2021 and barely used for a summer over 2022. It has been stored for last 6 months and when I pulled it out of its case, the plastic on the side broke. I am now unable to use the product or swivel it as it does not stay put on the holder. I am not sure what can be done. Although product is ok, plastic is of poor quality and not well structured causing the break untimely and without much use.
