never have liked harnesses much because they are too difficult for a simpleton like me. This one is easy on easy off. size chart seems accurate but I had to google some of the dogs on there as sheltie and collie were not listed. Fits my dogs well and I like that it has a handle on it

This has been the best harness we've had!

We have a cowboy corgi. With her short legs and stout body, it's been a challenge to find a harness that's comfortable and fits just right. This harness has done both! We are living happy walks with this great harness!

Well Made & Efficient!

My wife & I have gone through quite a few harnesses for our Beagle (Elliott) who was born blind, but is very active. Most harnesses would last several months before starting to come apart. I decided to do some research and stumbled on the Julius K-9 harness. We took a chance and purchased two. We've used them exclusively now for quite some time. The harness is well made using quality stitching & materials. No longer do we need to fumble to get his front paws into specific harness holes. This goes over his head, hooks around his chest and we are good to go! We hand wash and set the harness on our deck to dry naturally. They are more expensive than any others we've purchased, but well worth the $$$. The sizing guideline was very helpful too as we did not have to exchange our purchase. We also find it easier to control our Beagle & it took him no time to get acclimated to the new harness (which is important too)!

Best harness or vest I've tried on Dexter

Easy to adjust size as they grow. Seems comfortable but firm enough to stay in place if your dog struggles. Dexter is an autism support animal so it's nice that the brand logo is on a velcro strip and can be removed and replaced with service animal patches.

Good for now

Fits good, super easy to put on, it is for a 17lb pug which is notorious for slipping out if they pull backwards on the harness, mine has done this on the last 3 harnesses, I think it's because of their build and not the harness.

Middle of the road

I've now had this for a week or so. Bought it for my bully, who is considerably small for a bully. Measured him before ordering, so as to ensure proper sizing. No matter how I adjust the neck or the chest, it doesn't quite sit right. I think he's probably in between sizes, so to go down a size would be much too small. The clips appear to rally dig into where his "armpits" are, and if loosened then the entire harness is visibly too loose. Up till now, we were using a harness made by a local company here in Oregon. I think we may just stick with it because it's easier to work with and is adjustable in ways that work. It's a shame, because in the bulldog community the K9 Julius is hailed as being the best of the best.

So worth it!

I'm in love with this harness! Absolutely worth the price! And the personalized patches are fairly reasonably priced. This is a very sturdy and comfortable harness. Very useful, easy to size, easy on and easy off!

This Julius-K9 harness has changed MY life!

The item arrived on time and was well packaged and even had a small information booklet too. Now to the MAIN points of this harness for me! Without being dramatic, or saying this lightly, this item has changed my life!! I have arthritis in my spine and both of my hands (thumbs mainly) and walking my 5 year old Staffie cross was almost impossible for me because she used to pull on the lead. When I first put it on her she was almost "magically" transformed - it seemed to calm her instantly. When my back allows me to walk her (I aim for twice a day) she is like a different dog. She doesn't want to run off all the time, is happy to walk to heel, but most importantly SHE DOESN'T PULL ME!! All in all a perfect purchase and I wish I'd done it years ago. It was easy to fit on her (over her head), and the adjustments (chest and belly) were very simply to adjust to get the perfect fit. SHE may not know she's got it on when she's walking but I CERTAINLY do - and it doesn't slow her running down either. If you have a dog that takes YOU for a walk/trot/drag then try this harness today!! THANK YOU!!

The Collar Is In The Bin

This is an excellent product and has made a real difference when walking our large GSD. He was pulling strongly on the choke chain which was becoming increasingly ineffective. We were also worried about hurting his neck. We did lots of research and took a recommendation from a friend with a Doberman before we bought. It was certainly the right choice for us. Its very high quality, easy to fit and gives better control. He pulls less (although it hasn't stopped completely - we can't blame this on the harness and we continue to work on his pulling). When he does need a correction it takes much less effort and controls his torso direction as opposed to yanking his neck. The harness is very comfortable for him and looks great. You can even get appendages for carrying essentials. We are extremely happy with our purchase as is Stan. We would never have a collar again after this and would recommend highly to anyone considering it. We have had the harness for about five months now.

Dog can slip out of it!

Our cocker spaniel has the mini size, it fits snuggly and couldn’t be any tighter. But he’s learned that if he faces me and backs up, it just comes off and he’s free! This happened again this morning on a heath, and as he thinks recall is a daft human concept it took me a long time to catch him. So the dratted harness is going in the bin and I’ll go back to his old one - much less pretty but secure. I had seen a couple of reviews noting the same flaw, but mentioning an additional chest Y-strap. I can’t see how this would make any difference even if it was available in the mini size. So I definitely could not recommend this to anyone.

Sturdy, comfy and super easy to put on ????????

So easy to put on. I used to struggle daily with my shihtzu to get him to put on his harness - this one step over the head is a dream - quick and means we get out the door a lot quicker! The first time I adjusted it around his body and now I just clip in. The lead attaches to the top easily and not fiddly as it sits on top - as opposed to some other type of harnesses where you have to pull through to attach lead. It covers his body and allows him the freedom to move around easily. It also has a fixed strap over the top - I usually use this to lift him in and out of the car. Very pleased with this - the rave is real!

So ive had the knockoff copycat versions of these first.. so was definitely anxious to try the real mccoy as i feared for my dogs safety with the cheap material rubbish. But where credit is due, not this one!! Immediately i noticed the difference with this as its literally the first harness my dog doesn’t pull on for a start! Also the d ring area has better strength and support then any other harness ive had. The quality is far more superior as this whole harness doesn’t pull towards you compromising the safety of my pooch and to be fair the fitting is spot on. Its stylish and sturdy with a good reflective design and he’s comfortable. Could not wait to post this review as its hassle free to walk my dog daily. So will invest in more colours and Highly recommend
