My go-to solder

There's a lot of poor quality solder out there so finding one that works well can be tough. I typically try to avoid leaded solder (I know it's the best option in most cases, but I just prefer not to work with lead). With its silver content, this solder wets very well and leaves me with nice clean solder joints. The tube design also makes it easy to hold and use instead of spools.

As far as lead free solders go this one is pretty easy to work with

Kester is the good stuff!

For lead free, this is about as good as it gets. Small pack is handy if you don't do a lot of lead-free soldering. Have used other brands of solder with mixed results. Kester solder is a consistent and professional product. Never had an issue with Kester solder. It is not worth going cheaper for the headaches.

Affordable silver (Ag) solder for when u just need a little bit.

Used for general repairs and tinkering. Great size for my needs, would not have bought the big ol expensive rolls .

Good stuff

Flows well. Sticks well. Doesn't require as high of temps as other lead free solders I've used. The size if very convenient for smaller projects.

Good solder, texture good, shine is good. No issues.

As an Electrical Engineer for 40 years it's clear this is good quality product, strong, good flow, shiny, no bubbles or corrosion. No fear, great size for portable tool bag.
