A bit clunky- great for larger items, but doesn't work for bacon

These are exactly as shown and are sturdy and easy to clean. I bought them for bacon and they don't grip small strips of bacon well. If you plan on using the for something bigger like hotdogs or chicken, they work great! I gave it a 4 since it doesn't work for bacon, which is why I bought it.

Red Color easy to spot in a drawer........

Fits inside a mason jar perfectly. I also use one when I REFILL my rock salt containers in the winter. I like the plastic since the salt ruined a metal one I had. The color makes it easy to spot in a drawer or garage. Well constructed, heavy duty....will give you years of use.

Very handy tool

This is a good product. It can be used for lots of different things other than can lids. I’ll probably order some more. Would recommend.

Great for filling pickling jars

I use this funnel every time I'm filling up a pickle jar. This allows me to quickly dump the veggies into the jar and helps prevent the vinegar form splashing when I poor it over the veggies. The plastic is easy to clean and is durable enough to stand up to many uses and hot vinegar. This makes things just a bit easier when canning and pickling.

We aren't canning

Bought these for kids to use when pouring flour in a ziplock bag to make playdough. They keep the flour out of the zippers, and give the kids a bright target to hit with their ingredients. They hold up to dropping, accidental stepping on, and even survived a drop off the side of a rock ledge (oops!). Excellent quality!

I used the equipment to can for the first time. I made tomato and tomatillo salsa. The tools appear well made. . The magnet on the end of the air-removal tool for lifting the metal lids onto the jars is strong and works well. The clamps for lifting the hot jars in and out of the water also works well. The only negative I have is that it is hard to use the 2-cup scoop to pour hot salsa into the funnel. The scoop is too long to fit close to the funnel mouth. I had to pour from above and this splashes. This can be remedied by using a different ladle to pour salsa into the funnel.
