Industrial Electrician - You need this

To the Electricians and Various Trades out there... this is awesome Goodbye old unknown circuits in unlabeled switchboards or accidentally turning off vital equipment! Im an industrial electrician working in a old meat works, I do maintenance and breakdowns in a stressful environment, things aren't labeled well at the best of times and the pressure is on. This thing is a life saver for diagnosing circuits or trying to find them in unlabeled switchboard rooms, it works well and saves time and it's sooooo much less stressful if you need to deaden specific circuits without turning off vital operations while you try to "find it". Ps trying to find 24VDC, E stops which have broken contacts is amazing Fantastic product highly highly recommended, it will save your time, money, and hair...A+

Finally mapped all my downstairs sockets to the outside fuses. All while leaving everything energized so nobody in the house complained. All the accessories you need for that are in this kit, a proper test lead with a normal electrical plug as well. Sensitivity adjustment works extremely well, and the correct breaker was identified every single time with no doubt whatsoever. Plus it does all the tracing on non-energized circuits as well. I had ordered 2 other tracers to see if I can save a few dollars, they both go back. This is as good as it gets, and given the completeness accuracy and convenience of using, actually a great deal compared to the cheaper ones. Quality is as good or better than Fluke. And then, there is this: Since 1857, Klein Tools has been manufacturing tools in America, and it’s as important for the Klein family to keep that tradition now, as it was more than 150 years ago. Requires reading and understanding the directions, as well as practice.

This tool is as good as the user. The circuit breaker function is relatively easy to master, however the wire tracing function has a learning curve, so reading and understanding the instructions will avoid a lot of frustration and go a long way toward mastering this tool. The ET450 enabled me to complete my task, with a fair amount of heedfulness. That being said, the big plus is the price. Other systems can cost as much as 3 to 5 times more than the ET450. Only four stars because it's not what I would call plug and play. As with all wire tracers that I've used, as mentioned previously there is a learning curve.

Harry Potter magic wand

Some sheet rockers buried an outlet in the wall and I was able to use the tracer to find the buried outlet with ease! It’s a great tool to have when you need it for those troubleshooting jobs!! Great tool!!
