Does not appear to be for storage

These are pretty light weight and I am probably not using them as intended. They appear to be adequate to hold bread for a day or so, maybe for a bakery who just wants the bread protected from handling and exposure until customer gets it home. I was looking for something to actually store bread in until consumption. If you drop a baguette into the bag it will likely continue through the bottom onto the floor. I now load them laying flat on the counter. I’ll use these up and then look for another option.

Keeps the crust from going too soft

I bake sourdough. I found regular bags made the crust become too soft. These bags were a big improvement.

Good bags for homemade artisan breads.

I bought these for 22 - 27 oz round loaves of artisan bread. They are actually too big for the loaves, but I've found I can cut them in half and heat seal the edge of the upper section and get 2 bags out of one, for a neater look. The bags are sturdy enough to contain a good size loaf; the perforations adequate for allowing a cooled loaf to breath. The price is reasonable enough that I don't mind gifting loaves of bread in them. I've bought them in the past, and can happily recommend them to others.

What I expected

My only complaint is the "dispenser" it came with had to be attached to the bags. Several bags tore in the process. The bags are what I expected.

Great perforated bags!

Great bags for breads that have just been made. I had to watch my freshly made breads for not drying up if left without a cover or for getting soggy if put into a regular bag. Finally, I have a peace of mind. I can just put a freshly made cooled down loaf into the perforated bag and leave it alone for the rest of the day. Ta-da!!!

Great for short term storage

The bags are the perfect size for my baguettes, and they have a nice professional appearance. Unfortunately, however, the bread dries out really quickly when stored in these bags. I bought the bags to keep my bread fresher longer without having to rewrap the baguette with plastic wrap each time I want some bread. The bags would be good if you're selling or gifting the bread for almost-immediate use (~1 day), but they're not great for longer term storage.

Good bags

We use the bags for homemade sourdough bread. Works well. Keeps bread fresh for a couple of days.
