You get what you pay for.

This arrived in the package with the light on!. I thought, "Wow, that is really not very bright!" I changed the batteries and noticed that one of the 3 screws was already stripped in its' thread holes; it no longer offered any closure security. The back plate has a small hanging hook that swings out, but be careful! The first time I tried to pull the hook out from its' resting place in the backplate it almost broke off/out from the hinge! It worked/moves poorly from the hinge point. I was pleased to see a magnet on the backside. I have stuck this on my fridge for now. Once I put in new batteries the light was much brighter! It will light a small beam at the end or a large panel of beams on one side. I do like the small shape and size, but overall this seems terribly cheap and not at all durable. I am a Prime customer so even if the light was inadvertently pressed on during packing, the batteries were spent in 48 hours upon arrival. Perhaps because they were some unknown cheap brand. Having a stripped screw out of 3 for the backplate and a hook that is clearly going to break at any moment upon arrival is just a reminder to us all that sometimes you really get cheap-o stuff for cheap costs. Do yourself a favor, skip this, invest more $ in a better quality light that will be more durable.

Not worth it

You can never have enough convenient lighting in a hurricane prone state, so I stock up. I have much smaller LED lamps that generalte a lot more light. I thought perhaps the batteeries were weak because it is not bright enough and thne i notoced it. I have to whip oiut the tools to change the batteries. I could underdtand it on an IPV6 waterproof device, but thiis isn't. Save your money.

Great working light

Got this to replace a similar model. It works fine, is lightweight, and has a hook that allows you to work, handsfree. Small enough to fit in your hand. Has two methods of light use...the side for more direct light, and the top for a broader area of light. The red and black color matches a lot of toolsets and my bf likes that.
