Bought by accident

I received a notice for what I thought was a price drop on some chairs I had in my wishlist. As it was a good price drop ($240 down to $195) I added 2 sets to my Cart. Since the ones I had in my wishlist were originally not available to ship to my location, Alaska, I quickly went to my cart to make sure they would ship which they would. Once I placed the order, I realized these were not the same chairs I had in my wishlist. They were rated for a lower weight. I immediately tried to cancel the order. I assume since the boxes are large, it was treated as 2 separate orders. One cancelled and one didn't. This was within 5 minutes of the order. Definitely not the fault of the product. I received the one set within 2 days. Impressive. I originally thought of refusing the delivery but then thought why not give them a try. The reviews I had read were not all that favorable. But I always take reviews with a grain of salt. It took me about 45 minutes to put the first chair together. Not real difficult but some of the alignment for the bolts were definitely off a bit and took some flexing to get aligned. I was working alone because my granddaughter had bailed on me to go to her uncles and play. Ha Ha imagine that. Anyway, the chair seemed sturdy and smooth once together. The second chair took about 20 minutes even with having to re-attach 4 bolts due to forgetting the washers. Both chars seem sturdy and spin smoothly. Now the actual review. These are definitely not High Quality chairs. There are bumps in the armrests that you notice running your hands down them. They do sit fairly straight up so not great for relaxing in. I am using them for my outdoor kitchen bar so people will mostly be sitting up to eat or drink in them at the bar. The foot ring sets in pretty far and low so not real comfortable to rest your feet on, but the seat edge is nicely rounded so you don't get the circulation cut off to your legs. I will probably come up with a raised bar to make it more comfortable for shorter people. The adjustable feet are a nice plus for uneven floors and to adjust for any un-evenness in construction. The seats themselves are a little narrow and the arm rests will contact the sides of the legs for anyone who's "a little wider". I haven't had much time to try them out as it's below zero here and we're not spending much time at the outdoor bar, but so far they seem to meet my needs. I am 270 so I wanted chairs rated for 300. These are rated for 250. Time will tell. I've been looking for affordable bar stools since I started my outdoor kitchen. For the prices I've seen, these seem to be a bargain. As I said, not top of the line, but also not $250.00 each. If you have strong hands, assembly by yourself is not an issue. I hope this helps for anyone on the fence about these chairs.

Some difficult assembly required

Lame instructions. Some screws are slightly shorter than others. They must be used in the right places or you'll have problems. Screw caps are junk. If you don't have a workbench and tools, it will be difficult to assemble. The tools they give you with it are lame.

worth it

they are nice look nice and are worth the money for the quality but the assembling part is ugh horrible too me 4 hours ugh !all in all once built and ready they are very nice

Weak frame

I purchased 10 of these stools and they are not well built. The assembly is weak and if you spin to often or if the stool is knocked over the bearings fall out and you cannot put them back together. We have 2 that this happened with.

Smooth Swival

These were awesome chairs, smooth swival, easy to move along the deck. However, i had to return them they sat to high for my table. The measurements didn’t give the seat hight, which I measured to be 31 1/2 inches. The seller was good on returning I hated to return them

pretty comfortable

A tiny bit too high. if you dont angle the bottom just right chairs try to tip over when you exit them. Pretty comfortable

These chairs are very comfortable

We originally purchased a set of 2 earlier this year. When we revamped the area around the pool we made room for another set of 2. They are really comfortable chairs and look good. We are near the beach and even with humidity here in Queensland and salt air we haven't had any problems with the frames.

Do not buy

These bar chairs last about 2 Months. The swevil mechanism is made for a lazy susan not a chair. I wasted close to $1,000 please find something else.

Arrived with broken pieces

Cap on back of arm piece is broken.
