Fits my Craftman rider with 42" deck
This belt fits my craftman rider with a 42" deck. The belt is 5/8 X 97 13/32 and the deck actually calls for a 5/8 X 97 3/16 so the belt is like 7/32 bigger than what the manufacturer calls for but it works. This is my 3rd belt and I cut 1/2 acre of grass once a week for like 7 months living in the northeast (Ohio). It generally last one season and it stretches beyond use for the next season. I cannot find the correct belt size with good quality so I use this Max Power belt which is close enough. So I figure for $24 per season looking at total maintenance that I do on the tractor, it's not a bad buy and I can live with it.

Finally a belt the properly fits/works
I had been struggling to find a replacement belt for my craftsman dyt4000 after buying it from the old homeowner of the house we recently purchased. After going through 4-5 different belts, came across a YT video of someone repairing the same model and had provided a link to this belt. After installing and completing my first cut, the belt looks to be working perfectly! Incredibly happy with the buy and will provide an update on longevity!

Don't buy a cheap belt!
I bought a lower priced belt and it lasted about 3 months on my Craftsman tractor, this one is much heavier duty. The last time I bought this belt it lasted for over three years in difficult mowing conditions.
