High quality mount

I use this for a different purpose, but it serves really well. I actually use this to mount 200 watts solar panels to my balcony rails. The material is of very high quality and very sturdy. I'm sure that it would hold plants very well if it holds my 26 LBs solar panels. This is way better than ordering custom holders for solar panels at the price of ~$30 for 2 brackets.

Will not actually fit a 6 inch rail.

The part does not actually fit over a 6 inch rail. Using the screws included (4th pic) looks terrible in practice. The other set of screws, if you happen to only be using 2 rails, looks a little better, but really, you would need to go to the hardware store and find some smaller screws to have a flat-looking fit. With smaller screws, I'm not sure how the weight tolerances would stand up. For smaller rails and other purposes, the part looks very nice and was easy to put together. It's a pretty color. I'm rating 2 stars because all I needed from this part was to fit a 6 inch rail, and it doesn't do that.

If 3 brackets are pictured you should get 3 brackets not two like I got. False advertising

Great, sturdy!

Very sturdy! Used these to make a bar top to hang over our porch rail for our small porch. Loved that these came with three brackets, most sets only come with two.

They are just what we needed to attach a wooden flower box to our railing. Good price too!

Missing parts

Apparently, this item does not come with the bolts and screws to set this up for a flower box as it was shown in the photo.

Perfect!

Solid and heavy-duty. I'm using these with Mayne planter boxes to be able to attach them to my deck railing. Exactly what I needed.
