Fun art project with everything already included!
What child doesn't love doing an art project and ends up with 3 cupcake shaped paper-mache trinket boxes? None that I know of - both of my children quiet enjoyed decorating (gluing the colorful paper to the cupcake tops) and having a cupcake to put on their desk or nightstand to put things in. The kit is for children aged 6+ but my 3 & 5 year old had no issues with this project as I was right there beside them the entire time. The pre-cut stickers are nice and easy - from there you will use the glue powder from the kit to make the glue and apply it on top to seal it. While this is not my favorite project and it could have been a bit more interesting with other patterned paper - it was a kit that had everything included and honestly when things are getting crazy at home with two toddlers this is just the thing I love to pull out and know that I really don't have to run around trying to find some odd and end items to complete it. Mixed Feelings; Stickers are Gorgeous but Cupcake Components Seem Cheap and Cheesy
Recognizing that taste is a very individual thing, this craft package is a little cheesy for my tastes. The idea is to make three trinket boxes that resemble cupcakes, along with a matching tray. The base of each cupcake is hard brittle plastic. The top, to be decoupaged, is a paper mache stiff replica of the top of a frosted cupcake. The tray is thick brown cardboard. You decoupage these with the ample supply of stickers included in the package, and then affix the stickers permanently with glue made from powder in the kit, and applied with the rubber brushes included. There are three cupcakes, two brushes, and four gem like elements to use for finishing touches. I think the various designs of the stickers (which come in two sizes) are very attractive, but the cupcakes themselves look cheap and clunky. I can see this being a decent project pack for very young crafters, because each cupcake is a pretty small surface, so you could do this activity with kids who don't have very long attention spans. I think I'm just put off by the cupcake idea, and I am not sure anyone would really want to use the finished project as a trinket holder, but maybe I'm just being a snob or out of touch adult.

Very fun project with lasting results
This was a super fun project to do with the kiddo. You apply stickers onto the cupcake forms and the plate, and then cover it in the supplied glitter glue/paint stuff. It gives a fun decoupage look with minimal mess and set-up. The resulting toys were a hit and she's held onto them for a long time using them in her kitchen set, and in all kinds of other imaginative play scenarios. The cupcake toppers come with the corresponding plastic bottoms that make this a fun set to build and serve cupcakes with. Overall, this is a fun afternoon craft activity to do with the kiddos. This would be perfect for an afternoon project at the grandparent's house or with the babysitter.

Easy and Fun craft
This craft is really easy to do for a young kiddo (around 5-6 years old), without much adult help. The end product turns out pretty cute too.

Great craft for smaller kids
Super cute and creative way to get a toddler happy! We just use scraps and recycle paper with not problem under them to help with clean up. She can sit there for hours making cupcakes! Excellent toy! They look clunky and chunky

Nice Decoupage Set
1. The raw parts are ugly - rough - paper mache 2. Use the pretty stickers - stick all over the cupcake top and plate to make it look pretty. 3. Pretty much a one time use sort of toy. 4. You can keep sticking different stickers over the top of the existing ones

Cute and colorful and very fun to make.
We had so much fun playing with these. They are kind of a one-time event unless you want to have pretend tea or cupcake parties, but the fun part was creating them. They are cute and colorful.
