Sturdy box but difficult to put together

Great sturdy little cube. Exactly what I needed. However it is not really “snap together”. Like many other reviewers said, the holes and pins don’t match up and you will need a rubber mallet to hammer together. Take care though not to hit too hard as you will damage the sides and paint will chip off. I learned this the hard way, but the way I’m using the cube, you will never see the imperfection.

Holes don't line up and end with damaged product!

Holes did not line up with the pegs! Once forced together they causes cracking and damage to the outsides of the cube. There were also some holes that were too short for the pegs so when the edges were pushed flush together it caused damage to the cube where the peg went in too far. I bought 6 of these for extra storage in my kid's room so they will still work for that purpose but I am disappointed as this wasn't exactly a cheap purchase for the poor quality production or to end with a damaged product once assembled. Would recommend buying something else if you're not limited by a height restriction as I was. Attached pictures were just the worst examples...

Work to put together but does the job

As other reviewers have said, putting these together--aligning them just right, forcing part A into part B, etc.--have a mallet handy!--is a pain. The finished product is very good though, just as advertised. I use the cubbies to store clothes, paper folders, modem/router, etc. around the house. The pricing for a small amount of these sorts of cubbies is ridiculous so I went ahead and bought in bulk and am pleased with the number of things I can do with them. Manufacturers need to keep working on these sorts of smaller, attachable/combinable storage solutions!

Watch out for quality control!

I love the half-cubes for making sure I don't lose things in the bottom, and the cubes do actually feel pretty sturdy once they together. That being said, they're really only tool-free assembly if you're an octopus. Be prepared to have an extra set of hands to help you balance parts while you get them together. And watch out for quality control. If you don't have a drill and a sander, or at least a willingness to bash them up a good bit of necessary, you may end up returning a couple for assembly issues, even if you follow the very simple instructions exactly. The holes definitely don't line up quite as precisely as they need to. 3 of my 4 cubes went together fine with a bit of coaxing from a rubber mallet, but the fourth took about an hour and is decidedly not square, which could be an issue in a bigger build.

Worked perfectly

Sturdy and easy to put together! I needed something strong enough to support a mini-fridge and get it up off the floor without taking up a lot of extra space. This was the perfect size and easily sturdy enough to holdt the fridge. I added some feet to the four corners to give it a little more height and it's perfect! No more getting down on the floor to see into the fridge.

Bad quality

Nothing is aligned right very poor quality. Will not purchase anything like this again. Very disappointed!!

Good quality & easy to put together. I did it myself. Usually I need my husband to put together.

Perfect height on these cubes. I needed my desktop to be higher & these work perfect horizontally on top of my regular cubes. Now I can sit or stand at my table, plus more storage.
