has some construction issues but worked very well for my intention

We had a long car trip across the country with 3 big puppies and this was excellent for giving them some room while keeping them contained. There were a couple of issues we fixed with our own ingenuity and there was a little fraying after the whole ordeal was over. First, the sides, when you let them down tend to collapse (made a frame for that) 2nd, the little pads that are attached at the sides were kind of worthless as they bunched up. We put in our own padding on top of it anyway since puppies tend to pee or throw up in the car (surprisingly ours didn't!) When we got to the hotel room it was pretty easy to take the crate inside and then let the sides out so they had room and that was the best part of this kennel. Last, It would also have been nice to have a zipper on both ends so we could get them out from either end because we had them in a station wagon close to us but would have been nice to get them out the back end too, but we worked it out. Anyhow, for the price it worked out fine and the extensions on the sides made it worth buying.

Would never travel without this.

Just moved my daughter from Kansas to Texas. 2 very spoiled cats that have never been outside worried us. While we did get calming tablets from vet, this made the 5 hour trip worry free. They were comfy and reassured they were safe. Great 5 star purchase. 2 happy cats.

Great size, great value but arrived missing some stitching.

This carrier is perfect for our 3 cats during our 18 hour drive to & from our Florida home. Plenty of room for a small litter box, water & food bowl (although they don't eat while we're traveling) and 3 large cats. We all love it but it did arrive in need of a small repair on my part. The stitching was missing that attaches the handle to the carrier. I sew & decided it wasn't worth returning it for another. We had a larger carrier made by the same company but it was really too big & difficult to take in & out of the car. I highly recommend this carrier!

Great concept & great space, but some design flaws

I really like the concept. With my 2 10-week old Chihuahuas it's like they have a 3-room apartment. It is sturdy, at least for my pups. But there are some design flaws. 1. Side accordion-fold netting doesn't want to stay standing. Since it droops it's too easy for pup to pull it down. Perhaps could have cording which could attach to main compartment to help support netting so could stay higher & not droop toward floor. 2. Plush mat in each compartment & all 3 backed with plastic sheeting. None are cushioned. Main compartment mat has a 1/16" (or thinner) styro sheet inside & unzips so mat can be tossed in washer. MAIN FLAW ...2 side mats are sewn into seam on main compartment & can't be removed for washing. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING!! Even with potty pads down, accidents do happen, from spilled food to pee/poop accidents. Only solution is to hose down entire crate when it would have been easier for side mats to be held in place with velcro-type hook/loop tape for easy removal & washing.

Works great so far

I got the large. My 15 lb puppy and cat were fighting over it. It’s bigger than I need right now but puppy is still growing. I expect her to grow to about 21 inches higher so should work well. She currently is 17 inches high at top of head. There is a soft mat for all 3 areas. The only thing I don’t like is only one side (the front) zips to open up. The back has mesh but doesn’t zip open and it also doesn’t fully close so she can’t see out. I’m considering using it as her permanent crate once she outgrows her current small metal crate. Hopefully the quality will hold up.

Measure carefully, as measurements given are for closed sided crate

Great product. One issue is the measurements given above per crate size, is with the crate sides CLOSED (pulled and zipped up). With both sides open, you have to take the width they give, say 22 inches, and times it by 3. This make the total length some 66 inches. I ordered an extra large, and large, just to see the sizes, since they are big cats looking at an 8 hour trip. Large crate was HUGE! I then ordered a small and it is still too big for the car, and 1 little Yorkie to have room to move. Takes almost the whole back seat, which is a 4 door sedan with a full regular back seat. Crate itself is wonderful for travel and has plenty of room for a travel litter pan, and 2 big boy cats. I could have even put the Yorkie in with them. Still trying to figure area out, but would definately recommend.
