Beware the strap size M-XXL is 36 inches max

I had to return this because I have a 40 inch chest. In this listing there is no option to buy the sensor and the 3X size (>36 inch) strap. The only way I could do it was to buy the sensor and 3X strap as separate items.

Product did not work

Spent time researching the product and was left disappointed. I don't know if it was the one I received but it did not work. Followed all the steps and nothing, never synced to the appt. Will try reordering and will update if the next one works.

Not Working

I recently purchased the Polar Heart Beat Strep but unfortunately, I have been facing connectivity issues with it. Despite trying to connect it through Bluetooth, it fails to show the heart rate on the device. I have also tried to improve the connectivity by putting moisture on the belt, but to no avail. Furthermore, I have even replaced the battery, but the problem still persists. It's quite disappointing to have such an expensive device that doesn't work as expected. I hope that the manufacturer can look into this issue and provide a resolution. Until then, I cannot recommend this product to anyone.

Pros - Comfortable Stays tight around chest Accurate readings Very nice app/website where you can analyze your different workout HR's. It's been very useful Having the HR displayed on my phone while I work out shows whether or not I need to push harder or should slow down a bit. Battery is fine so far Cons - Wondering how I'm going to clean it/wash it. I'm sure there's a way, just haven't looked into it yet. Side note - I'm 5'10" 180lbs (in decent shape) and I had to get their "Standard - XXXL" size. So if you're around the same size/height as me, definitely get their XXXL. Weird sizes but w/e. EDIT: After 35 hours of use while training over 6 weeks the battery has died. That seems short, so taking away one star because of that.

Great heart rate monitor for workouts

I purchase this after reading other reviews about accuracy. I had another type that wasn’t very accurate on heart rate readings so I thought I would try this. So far it seems to be very accurate, I’m 5’10” with a 44” chest and needed the XXXL strap. This one is a great fit. If you need something that tracks your steps, speed or distance you will need the watch or some equipment that pairs with this. I have it set up to use with their app on my phone and it logs past workouts along with heart rate readings. I don’t know about the water resistance. I might purchase the watch in the future to use with this strap as more information would be available. So far I recommend this item.

Just about perfect up to now!

The POS Dayton HRM that was included with my Proform Pro Elliptical trainer was driving me nuts! So I installed Polar Beat and that helped somewhat but still the readings were way off. So I ordered this puppy, wow problems solved, this is a pretty well flawless device. Now, I'm still in the honeymoon phase, so we'll see how it goes long term. It connects seamlessly with my Galaxy S10 Plus and my Elliptical. Moreover, I can also connect my Plantronics Pro2 Bluetooth headphones and listen to music at the same time. The readings are smooth and accurate with no hesitations or stumbles. What more could anyone ask for?

I am completely satisfied with this Heart Rate Sensor

I am completely satisfied with this Heart Rate Sensor. It pairs with my polar loop 2. I really didn't need the XXX strap as the XX is quite large but its still a benefit to have the larger strap and i am using it instead of the XX Both accomodate a 44" chest comfortably. The software is beneficial and I like the Polor Beat app which coordinates with the GPS on walks and runs to map your route and monitor your distance, heart rate, and route. I have not used it in water yet.

great tool

I received this from my husband for Christmas. It is great! Even though I have used my Apple Watch health app all the time, this device gives a better analysis of calories, fat burn, max bp, average bp. It's great. I also check how my workouts have improved over the weeks. Highly recommend it!

Disappointed

It came with a flat battery which I had to change to get it to work and the strap was damaged. It looks like someone had already used it.I am 5’8, 193 lbs athletic guy and the strap barely goes around my chest when fully extended.

Problemas con su propia aplicación

No logré que funcionara con mi teléfono. Ni con su propia aplicación, Polar Beat. El otro sensor H10 que tengo tampoco funciona con el teléfono. Ahora uso un pulsómetro Garmin Dual y otro Kalenji Dual, ambos muy bien tanto con el teléfono como con otros computadores de ciclismo y de senderismo de otras marcas. Me gustaría volver a usar el H10 con Polar Beat. Me han sido de ayuda muchos años y sospecho de algún problema en el software. Sigo considerando un buen sensor el H10 y no descarto que algún día pueda volver a usarlo.
